One of better tier 6 premiums, only issue may be a bit too long aimtime , and high silhouette ( constant nagging from my friend, who has it ).

I highly rate this tank, other than the Cromwell this is my favorite tier 6.

Its an underated tank in my opinion. Ok the aimtime and accuracy on the move isn't amazing but get this thing's DPM to use and you are flying!

For me the main problems with T-40 are gun depression and stabilization. Everything else is OK.

Pen even after the buff isn't the best, and will still make suffer you in T8.

So im not going to purchase any premium with this gun,as such being the JapTiger.

The so-called ''great DPM'' is irrelevant,if you cannot pen stuff.

Gold pen is absolute trash.

It's not 200 pen is great though HEAT isn't always the best choice of ammo I much prefer APCR.

If the tank depends on premium ammo to be competitive well let's just say that is not something I want to encourage wargaming to do.

We had premium tanks that were basically stock tanks slightly sub-par for their tier but with limited matchmaking.

Then stronger tanks with normal matchmaking.

If the future is average premium tanks that need to use premium ammo to play them effectively you just lost one of the main reasons for getting premium tanks.

Low repair costs crew training are good benefits but being able to grind more credits is also a major reason if I have to spend a good portion of my bonus credits on premium ammo I will choose a different tank.

It 's big, the gun depression will let you down most of the time, not even agile, slow RoF compared to the rest, the shittiest dispersion you can find at T6 and slow shell velocity. That's all...

It gives me some nice credits sometimes but it doesn't excel at anything. I believe Steiner011 was talking about me when he mentioned "constant nagging from my friend, who has it".

CromB is so much better. Crap gun dispersion but super agile and fun. With T40 don't ever think of trying snapshots...

Tried out the Skoda T 40 on the test server and yes it's a decent tank, fast enough to get around the battlefield.

The gun was fine in the games I played took almost all the hits of a tier 6 French SPG that for some reason was scouting, HE would have killed it.

Also had no problems penning the front of a Churchill 3 with standard AP

Yep you are right Its an easy pen forgotten how badly set up that armour is, very little of it is the stated 176 mm.

The areas I hit on the hull were less than 100.

My only excuse I was interrupted in mid-post by a visitor.

Its not a bad tank but the slow aim time is very annoying, given an excellent crew its probably ok but I do not yet have an excellent crew to put in it.

It's trash enough to not work well against T8.

17 games played and seen tier 8 four times. Pretty good ratio so far.
