total fail. i think i am not alone in beleiving that anyone playing this game would prefer highly realistic models if they were thinking of building one

I bet these models are poor quality, and break apart easily.

I love it when lego fanboys moan about rip off blah blah blah.... yes this company is cashing in on lego's fake pacifism (star wars, dark ages, ninja's, pirates), but NO war lego!! These sets are on par with lego sets if it comes to quality of the blocks them self! They are beter then lego's sets lately! All lego is doing the last couple of years is making boring overpriced sets and cashing in on bought licenses! and the price of cobi sets!! You can get them cheaper from retail stores across the EU! I bought the A6M2 Zero for 20 euro's and the KV-2 for 30 euro's! Dont get me wrong! I still like lego but, 400 euro for the Ghostbusters HQ is just ridiculously expensive!

How much do you think licenses cost? :) And how many people do you think buy these sets?

That is why LEGO is so expensive, these licenses cost quite a fortune.

I wonder if COBI pays WG license fees because that would be kind of odd. All these vehicles were designed more than 70 years ago so any form of patent or copyright on them has long since expired. All WG did was copy-pasta plans of public designs in most cases.

Hmmmm some lame company that copied lego begged wg to post their website on the wot news page. Conversation must've been like this:

Wg: so why did you come here, Very nice , english speaking polish person that understands what teamwork is and that friendly fire is bad (lolnope) ?

Cobi (sounds like Kobe.... hmm...) : please oh so mighty wargamer I-

Wg: ITS WARGAMING!

Cobi: sorry oh so mighty wargaming, I just came to ask if you could advertise our website!

Wg: why would we do that?

Cobi: it has tanks

Wg: and?

Cobi: you get money

Wg: DEAL!

tl;dr overpriced lego copy

I have a couple of Cobi tanks and they are very nice, and the quality is the same as Lego. I just prefer their normal WWII line of tanks (instead of the WOT line) because they have historical markings.

I bought myself the Tiger1 at Bovington tank museum during tankfest. Really looking forward to build it later in August!
