v1.6 Update:

-redone all SD and HD Models, giving the SD Models a new coat of paint and fixing up some parts of the HD Models
-removed tank previews (because I feel like they're just taking up space, so unless people want them back I won't re-add them)
-added optional Chassis Camouflage. Only Tier VII+ Have been done thus far, but in the long run, it will be available on all HD Tanks (though the appearance of it across some tanks will not be as good as others, this is just how it is, sorry!)

'ello, it's me again. Once more, if you've seen my previous two mods (one of which is basically only part of this pack, you'll know when you see it), please read the entire thread before actually downloading and pretty much all of this will be repeated in the README In the pack itself. Literally, I'll probably just copy+paste it. Ok, ok, let's get going. As always, first thing first is to get a few things out of the way;

-this is the FIRST time I've ever done something like this. My previous mod which you may have seen was a camopack, and after that I discovered how to mess with the models and such. Much like the camopack, I mostly started this for myself but decided as I progressed with it that keeping it to myself would be quite selfish. While I have spent probably almost a month actually working on this (with well over a days worth of time alone actually spent in Paint.NET Doing, well, this mod), there's still going to be plenty of errors and such. I apologise and hope you understand, and hope for the most part the mod is still attractive to you despite such. If you find any errors (preferably a "larger" one; I don't mean to sound rude, but if it's something such as "This should be x colour, and that should be y colour", please don't bother), please inform me either through PMs or posting here!

-though this mod is basically an attempt at making the British tanks all the "Bronze Green" colour, the colour itself is not 100% Accurate. I got it as close as I believe I could, especially in the case of the Standard Definition models. If this upsets you in any way, I apologise! Oh, and additionally, there are 3 (!) Tanks that have not been recoloured. One is the Cromwell B, which I believe is fine as it is, while the other two are the Chieftain Mk. 6 and T95/Chieftain. Those last two I haven't changed because, well, from my knowledge they're not actually in the game yet! When  they are, or if any other stuff is added/updated to HD, I will probably change them and update the mod so please keep an active eye on it!

-finally, and the most short point to make. Again, I am a newb to this stuff, if you would prefer to look into some much more professionally done skins, check out these modmakers and their respective forum threads!

Now. With that done, let's actually take a gander at what this pack does if the name didn't give it away already. Here's just one example from the pack, which replaces all but 3 British tanks with a nice Bronze Green colour (well, mostly nice. The SD Models aren't so great, but that's not really something I believe I can really fix because, well, WG Is HDing stuff for a reason). Anyway, the example is the Comet, because who doesn't love the Comet?

This pack also includes recoloured icons to match the change of the tank colours. I have to say in advance, certain tanks are not available for me to view (in order; Light VIc, Sexton I, Sentinel AC I, Sentinel AC IV, FV201 (A45) and the Chieftain/T95) so I'm not 100% Sure those icons work so if they don't, please notify me! They're in the pack and all, but, well you get the idea.

Inside the pack you'll find 4 Previews of each and every tank, though the tanks mentioned above had to be taken in-game and a few have camos on, so for that I apologise!

Alright, at this point I'm sure people just want the mod. I warn you by the way, it's pretty big (I mean, wouldn't you have assumed that?). Before I post it though I'd like to point this out. DO NOT UNZIP THIS INTO YOUR WORLDOFTANKS FOLDER. Unzip it into your downloads or some place like such, then to install the mod unzip the 0.9.15.1 Folder into your res_mods folder like such.

Spoiler

Ok, ok, I feel a bit bad for delaying it so long so here's the download.

http://www.mediafire.com/file/wq7xdcecd19nd8g/%5B0.9.18.0%5D+Desyatnik_Pansy%27s+Bronze+Green+British+Tech+Tree+Pack+v1.6.rar

Like I said, it's big (though not as big as my camopack, I think), so go make a cup of tea or something while it downloads. :P

Oh, and two final things to round this thread off before I just show off some of my favourites;

-unsurprisingly, this mod does affect camos. If you download my camopack, well, they're harder hit than some of the base camos though for the most part, they're still fine. Just warning you though. Here's a preview of the base camos on one of the tanks thanks to my former clanmate Strappster.

-yes, if you were going to ask if I'm going to update this when they add stuff like the Chieftain, or change a tank to a HD Model, if it wasn't clear enough in one of the bullet points up at the top, I will update it as well as make a separate download for the new models so you don't have to redownload the whole thing again. I look forward to actually updating it, as like I said above I think, I'm not personally a huge fan of the SD Models so the less of them the better.

And now, at last, thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy the mod! Remember, if there are any issues please, please please inform me through PM Or by posting here. And with that said, here's just some of my personal favourites;

Tiny side note. It's a good thing I don't actually upload the mod until I've written this whole thing! I'd forgotten preview screenshots of the FV4005 And since that's one of my favourites, I noticed it while compiling those so I get to fix it before I even start uploading!

Spoiler

For those enjoy this mod, feel free to check out my other mods;

Just a minor thing to mention is I'm planning on an update for this in the future. Some may have noticed that the tracks on most tanks do have a green tint (as do the machine guns on some tanks that have them) which is because unlike the shovels and the like, I didn't copy+paste the original track colours back over the new stuff. At the time I thought of this as a minor sacrifice to getting the thing done but I'll be going back through stuff in time to try to fix this, though it'll probably take awhile. :honoring:

Just a very sloppy way of showing things.

With my Bronze Green mod
Original tracks
New version (make it tad brighter perhaps?)?

I intend to replace it with the new version to hopefully give it a nicer appearance but goddamn will it take a long time since I'm still a scrub at this stuff. :teethhappy:

So "fixing" the tracks will affect 18 Tanks in total. It'll be a bit annoying to do since on some of them, they look completely fine on my end but on lower graphical settings or in better lighting, it may be obvious they're not. Anyway, the tanks affected are;

-Matilda

-Churchill VII

-Black Prince

-Caernarvon

-FV215b

-Firefly

-Achilles

-Challenger

-Charioteer

-AT15A

-Tortoise

-Covenanter

-Crusader

-Centurion Mk. I

-Centurion Action X

-Sentinel AC I

-Sentinel AC IV

-Chieftain/T95

If I've missed any I apologise, and please point them out. :P

Just an update on the above thing. With the addition of the Valentine AT, I have currently replaced the tracks on every one of the listed tanks above aside from the Black Prince, Centurion Action X and the Tortoise, which are the "annoying" ones of the bunch. The Black Prince I'm working on, while the other two I'll probably get to within the week. I will update the Bronze Green version of my standalone Firefly mod (the original Beige version is completely unaffected) probably later today as the Firefly is one of the finished tanks.

http://forum.worldoftanks.eu/index.php?/topic/582546-9151-pansys-sherman-firefly-with-camouflaged-barrel-bronze-green-version/

Additionally to changing the tracks, I've fixed atleast a few minor errors on some tanks. I'll be updating the OP As well as posting the new link somewhere below when it's finished, as well as like with my camo pack offering a smaller download which is nothing but the replaced files (meaning you should be able to just copy+paste it into your existing folder under res_mods and all that and just replace the existing files and bam, job done).

Same case as my previous two threads. The mod still appears to work fine with the new micropatch. All you have to do is move it into the new 9.15.1.1 Folder, or rename your existing folder to that. If there's any problems beyond that please let me know.

Additionally, I'll be updating this probably tomorrow (or Sunday), whenever I get the time to finish it. The update will fix the appearance of the tracks as shown above for these tanks;

Spoiler

If I've missed any please let me know. The tracks may not look perfect for you, as what I see may be very different from what others see so if there's any problems beyond that please inform me. Additionally, it's far from perfect, so there may be an error or two you may spot. Again, with regards to that, please let me know and I'll try to fix any issues though, not to be rude, I'm not going to "break my back" over a tiny error that might be present. ;)

Since I've been taking my sweet time updating this (it's almost done, almost), I've taken the liberty of adding a fourth additional skin to the mix. It's a third (?) version of the Firefly, this time with some historically inspired decals (I have to highlight; historically inspired, not accurate. I am no historian, and though I'd love to actually maybe sit down one day with someone who is of the sort and make skins based far more accurately than this, this isn't the case here). Of course, there's a version with both the white barrel or not, depending on your preference.

Spoiler

I will additionally be attempting to make a version for the original Beige colour, with some different decals and such for my separate Firefly mod, so maybe look forward to that.

Right, finally done. Updated the OP And will add a link to both the full updated version and the separate small version if you already have the full thing below. Please inform me if there are any issues, I've tried to make sure there shouldn't be any but that doesn't mean there might not be one missing file or something of the sort somewhere.

Just to confirm as well, the update has added another additional skin for the Firefly, as well as updated the tracks on hulls of these tanks;

Spoiler

I know I've repeated that already a few times but I just want to make it clear. Also, if any such tanks still have issues with those tracks, please point them out. I've tried to make them pretty much perfect (of which, it took about 15-16 Hours to do the Tortoise, so screw that thing) but that, as usual, doesn't mean they will be. The main ones to look out for are the Sentinels and the Chieftain, because as I have likely mentioned above, as I cannot preview the tanks in the garage I have had to rely on using replays to see how they look.

Anyway, not to hold you too long, here's the full updated version.

http://www.mediafire.com/download/w5eneuge8rbsbpb/Desyatnik_Pansy%27s+Bronze+Green+British+Tech+Tree+Pack+v1.1.rar

If you already own the original v1.0 version, feel free to download this smaller download, which is just the stuff that's actually in the update rather than having to redownload the whole thing. Again, there may be issues so please inform me if there are.

http://www.mediafire.com/download/31wkh6jw2dozhzu/v1.1+Improved+Tracks+update.rar

Final small point to highlight, I have not updated the existing READMEs or the previews. I don't think I should have to, but if people want me to I'll get on that at some other point.

Nice work: some of the skins you made could be a good base for hystorical (or at least plausible) paint job  :medal:

9.16 Appears to be only HD'ng the Crusader SP So once the Test Server is up I'll try to update that so that hopefully this works on day one of 9.16.:honoring:

Crusader 5.5in. SP Updated on the Test Server. Hopefully I should be able to just copy+paste this into 9.16 With no issues once it's out. From my experience it's fine, but per the usual please notify me if you see any errors when I'm able to add it in 9.16. For now, you'll just have to enjoy some eye-candy.

Another bump. This is part of my other mod for the Firefly, so I'll quote that thread post here;

View PostDesyatnik_Pansy, on 13 September 2016 - 06:54 PM, said:

I haven't done much with this for awhile so what I'm trying to do right now is make the camouflaged barrel much better looking. This is a test with what, 4k or whatever it's called? The texture file is 4096x4096, though I have no idea if that'll cause any problems in which case I might make a smaller version at 2048x2048 to be safe. Nonetheless, here's the unfinished version, since it'll take awhile for me to get around to and then perfect.

Spoiler

To compare, this is the current version (note the blurryness on the edges, which is what I want to fix);

Spoiler

I will also, once this is finished, update the Tortoise as one of the alternate versions available in the pack gave the stock Tortoise gun a camouflaged barrel like the Firefly and while I'm convinced few probably use it, it would be unfair not to update that too. :honoring:

As was mentioned above, I've updated the Sherman Firefly's barrel paint to a much better quality. You can see my post about that itself in the standalone thread;

http://forum.worldoftanks.eu/index.php?/topic/582546-91511-pansys-sherman-firefly-with-camouflaged-barrel-bronze-green-version/

In other news, I have also updated the Tortoise's alternate version to also feature much better quality barrel paint, as well as updating the decals on the historically-inspired Firefly skin I included in the v1.1 update to better quality to (though the Guards Armoured Division decal is slightly inaccurate, and will be fixed later tonight). You can take a look below. These will be coming in the v1.2 update, which while it's technically finished now, I'm holding it back until 9.16 Releases since the Crusader SP Was HD'd in the next patch and well, you get the idea. If I get the time before  then, I will be adding an additionally historically inspired skin for the Comet.

Tortoise
Historically-Inspired Firefly

Final news, I'll be adding an "Update Log" from now on to this, the standalone Firefly and my Camouflage pack. Other than that, as always, please keep me informed of any errors or problems you encounter.

Just copy-pasting from the Camouflage pack thread; I haven't downloaded the update yet and won't for awhile so I can't test if this works but it should be possible to just rename the folder to 0.9.15.2 and it should be fine. If that doesn't work with regards to this mod please inform me.

Copypasta from the Camouflage pack thread; I don't like bumping my threads twice a day but I just want to confirm that they indeed do appear to have no issues in 0.9.15.2, atleast on my end. If it doesn't work for you please mention.

I'm really tooting my horn tonight with a third post in this thread in one day. Anyway, this is an additional alternate skin to use for the Comet coming with the 9.16 v1.2 update. I'll need to redownload Aslain's for the Hangar Freecam for some better shots for the previews but for now, this'll do;

Spoiler

If there's any tanks you'd actually like to see some alternate versions of don't be shy to mention, though I'm not going out of my way to do everything and whatnot. Especially considering the texture files for the turret and hull are 4k to appropriate the much better looking decals. I'd hate to make the download like fifty times bigger to accommodate tons of alternate versions.
