News from the garage shed aka mod workshop :justwait:

 

This time the M47 Patton for the tier 9 M46 Patton. Got MoE and emblems working. Camo looks also good. Only thing missing is the stock turret with the guns.

 

 

It even has gun choices!! Ermagerd!

Yeah that's ingame footage. I use ReShade to get the depth of field effect and colour correction.

Hi mate, I have a little question. With which line of the tank xml from the item_defs tank xmls  I can rise up a turret a bit?  It would help me to rise the PzIIIK turret so placed onto the PzIIIJ hull  it would fit perfect. Doin so without lifting it up, the turret scrumbles into the hull and this looks not so good..........................

You can't do it with the XML file. Open up the Hull.visual_processed file and edit row3 of HP_turretJoint

 

 

The orange number is what you need to edit. Higher value = higher up turret.

Great, you are a magician !!! With which programm I can editi this? Can I use WoTools for making it readable and then edit it with notepad+ ? But then I would have a xml file.........

Just rename the Hull.visual_processed.xml file to Hull.visual_processed (just delete the ".xml" at the end)

Btw. This model was an absolute pain in the a** to finish. Consisting of multiple ripped up parts I had to weld them together so I could edit the normals and then I had to reduce polygon count as it was up in the 90.000s :sceptic:
