Totally possible but I'm busy with other releases so if anyone else wants to "port" it over please go ahead.

Spoiler

I got it working by renaming some files in the lod0 folder, so kind of a dirty way.

I tried decoding the STA 2 xml file and editing it to target your model files but when i try to load that into the game it crashes on startup. What do you use to create / edit vehicle xml files?

With wottools.exe you can edit encrypted XMLs: https://app.box.com/...vzvwa3j9j9n55h4

Since the STA-2 and Type 61 are quite similar you don't even have to edit the chassis parameters in the XML, just camo and emblems/gun marks.

Make sure you open the visual_processed and model files and change their file paths. Notepad++ will be quite helpful with the XML language support there for highlighting.

Just one thing I'm wondering, you made a post awhile ago about the T-34-3 But never got back to my response to it.

Is there a way to convert the T-34-3 remodel to work with 9.16 myself? The model and textures load fine, but the emblems and marks are off. I tried editing the xml values but my game starts crashing after decoding the xml files and changing values..

I've personally managed to update the T-34-3 HD Remodel to work for 9.16 Myself for something quite.. disturbing. Are you just editing the XML Within the 9.15.2 (which I believe was the last version updated by Milky) or decoding the ch14_t34_3 from the 9.16 Scripts? :hiding:

If you want I can send you the script for the thing I made and see if you still have problems. Noting that if that's the case that I moved the Marks of Excellence near to the end of the gun.

EDIT: Since I'm actually at my PC Now I got some screenshots in-game without the hideous skin I put over it. Just continuing the above, I can move the Marks back to their initial positions if you want and send you it and see if problems persist.

Spoiler

Since Milky gave me permission I uploaded a version of it updated to 0.9.17.0.1 For another fella but I can move the Marks to their original position and send that to you if you're still interested.

The gun models are a variable though, I'm guessing most would want the 90mm for the sta @ but I'm using the 105 as i like it more.

I am using wottools but I'll try your version and see if I can make a decent version for STA2.

Oh sorry! Hadn't seen you replied to me. Yeah I'd very much like that :) Not sure if i prefer the marks like that or the other way but they're both cool so your version is fine.

If you want the Marks moved back at all you can just ask, otherwise here's the link. As I've said when I posted it for the other fella in General (I know I don't have to probably state this, but I like to), I will gladly take the link down if Milky asks me to. :P

I'm not sure if there are any issues as I don't own a T-34-3 And don't actively play right now to be meeting them to know if there are any, but hopefully there aren't. Always help to be careful though.

I agree, he's absolutely entertaining, at this point, I actually feel a level of pity and empathy for him. I'm curious as to the psychosis that haunts this poor child.

Hahah, it's funny to see him trying to "fix" things for himself by removing your name from the files, forgetting the references xD

He didn't even take the effort to test his messy attempt..

Hey Milky, it seems that the remodel of M41 Bulldog isn't updated in github yet, still says 9.16 in res_mods...

Still much of thanks for all of the AMAZING content you make :)

Just copy the file inside the 0.9.16 folder into the current version. It doesn't need updating.

Milky, is Type 64 version 2 model a bit different in size than original model?

Hi MilkyM4n, was just wondering if an Israeli M4A1 Rev skin was still on the table.

Thanks for the amazing skins! :)
