I'm thinking about merging changes that are done by Ekspoint in stat script, but I want keep the mod visually unchanged.

Has anyone tried his stat script, is it calculating after cw?

The other thing what I'm worried about is, I read it that there will be changes to notification center in next patch, that could break the mod totally.

Indeed there are. The Notification Centre will be split into three "sections" like this:

Not very hard to fix, I got mine running in under 2 minutes of coding.

0.9.15.2 has brought in some changes to the text files, probably all related to the new game mode.

I have black background.

Can someone give me a little help please . I would like to keep the original Wot after battle results in the notification area . Is there a way to shut that off ? I've deleted the Text folder and that didn't seem to help .

I love these session stats but not being able to use the original ones is driving me nuts ....

Thanks again for the help

Though not sure what will happen if you just remove that file. :)

And not sure if there's something else you could do.

Not that I've noticed, all the others seems to start with img://

Unless you are using the overwriteBattleResultBgIcon section, those 3 lines need "fixing" I guess :)

I think they're off by default, so it's a minor thing.

I'm studding the python script from Ekspoint and Slava7572 to consider implementing that changes...

Main changes:

  • config.json and color.json merged in to 1 file
  • config.json, expected_tank_values.json, cache.json moved to \res_mods\configs\wotstat

  • removed macros:

dailyXPFactor, gametype, damageRec, potDamageRec, deathsCount, fortResource, mileage, originalPremXP, originalFreeXP, eventTmenXP, autoRepairCost, autoLoadCost, autoEquipCost, service, grossCredits, grossGold, totalDmgRec, totalMileage, totalMileagekm, totalPotDmgRec, totalDeathsCount, allXP, totalOriginalFreeXP, totalOriginPremXP, totalTmenXP, totalEventTmenXP, totalResources, autoRepairGBMCost, autoLoadGBMCost, autoEquipGBMCost, place

  • renamed macros:

netCredits = credits

netGold = gold

damageAssistedRadio = assistRadio

damageAssistedTrack = assistTrack

totalDmgAssistRadio = totalAssistRadio

totalDmgAssistTrack = totalAssistTrack

  • changed handling of vehicle and map names

I think they wanted to make the script more lightly or some of the macros could be the reason that script stops further counting in some cases, but removing them would change the mod visually.

I would like to see what You think about it....

Do you have a comparison screenshot, which would definently help the people "vote" between them? :)

Or could have both versions going, if it's not too much trouble.

Honestly, I am not a fan of this propsed change.

  • Moving the configs to a separate folder is nice and all, but nothing more. Most other mods still have their config in the place where their relevant files are, so it is not adding any comfort or reducing complexity. But then again, someone has to start this kind of unification :)
  • I am also not seeing the advantage of putting everything in one config file. That file will just get MUCH larger and less easy to modify or exchange with other users. However, I could live with that change if it brought other advantages.
  • Renamed macros: I dont care, if it helps to handle them better or name them more "logically", it is a good thing.
  • No idea what the "changed handling of vehicles and map names" means, I guess its about the post-battle results? Also, if that is only internal optimisation, I am totally for it.
  • The most important point for me is though: I do not like the removal of all those macros. Not at all. I found it a great strength of this mod over other session stats, that there are so many different macros available to build your own "Stats" overview to your liking. Just from the top of my hat, in my config I am using "totalOriginPremXP", "totalTmenXP", "totalDeathsCount", "totalDmgRec", "grossCredits", "service" and I wouldnt even call my config totally wild. While I can see some of these mentioned macros being douplicates of others or simply "too special", I have to say that quite a number of them is really really useful. And I would not use this mod anymore without them.

Here is a screenshot of my config, just to show you that it does not contain any wild stuff. In fact I wish the "trees cut" were included...:hiding: :

There is no simple comparison between python script's, you can't just put Ekspoints script instead the current, because the config need's to be adapted too...

Removing the macros would cause that YK looks different (default config), with not much possibilities/macros, not like we have it right now, of course it depends of individual configuration.

Anyway here are the link's:

tratatank

Ekspoint

Slava7572

There is one more solution what I'm thinking about, adapt the whole mod to ShuraBB's mod TimeSpent.

Any of these solutions is too much time consuming, and I need to figure out from where to start, what could be the best option...

I'm trying to find a solution for the old bug that cause script to stop counting further battles and to implement when there is something useful and interesting.

Everything we need is a updated python script, so the mod can keep living :)

Dado_Ze, maybe you should migrate to PMOD statistics because it's always keep up to date. No bugs, it provides all yasenkrasen stuff (sessionstats, battlechat report, system messages).
With few hours, you can personalize config how yasenkrasen looks like. Mine is a mix between old locastan sessionstats and yasenkrasen.

Need a little bit more research, I think the most important thing are available macros in TimeSpent or PMOD compared to current python script, so the YK keeps visually same when migrated.Both mods are regularly updated

I will maybe make a poll later after I done with researching, or post here your experience/opinion with that two mods...
