Iirc, previous version had 2 folders installed (script and gui). Latest has only script folder. Could it be the issue ?

This mod always had only the old scripts folder, no gui folder. I should really move my mods to the gui folder but I'm just too lazy...

And this message is literally SPAMMED into the pythong.log like there is no tomorrow if you are in arty mode. Would be nice to have a fix for that.

 

 

Artillery strategic mode has never been supported by this mod. If it worked in previous versions it was pure coincidence.

I have added half a line of code to disable the mod when in strategic mode. If this solution is not to your satisfaction I can only recommend looking elsewhere for a server reticle mod.

 

Even though the issue was obvious in code, providing the log entry is much appreciated.

I do not mind that the mod does not support arty strategic mode. I am just happy that you fixed all the errors that were popping up.

 

Just so you know where i am coming from: in previous versions, even if unintended, there was a second crosshair to be seen in strategic mode, like this:

I tried to install this mod multiple times and it doesn't work for me on 9.17.0.1 client.... is it just me or is there something wrong with the mod?

@Awfultanker, since 9.17 I am encountering graphics glitch with your server reticle mod.

But I am not 100% sure if it is the mod, or something else. I started noticing it since I upgraded to a R9-270X on New Years eve (with a clean install of latest AMD drivers). But I am not sure as, you know, holidays and pubs....

 

The issue goes a follows:

after a random amount of time I begin to see the mods server reticle textures 'clumped together' in the center of the battle loading screen. As time goes by this graphics glitch starts to manifest it self in the garage, as well as in in battle.

As restart of the WoT client resolves the issue.

 

Have no clue of what might be causing this 'glitch', whether it is settings, video driver, or mod related.

Can you provide any additional information on this issue? After how many battles do these artefacts typically show? Any mod related errors in the python.log file?

At this moment don't have exact figures regretfully. Python.log shows no errors I can track back to AT_ServerMarker, related scripts, or UI stuff.

Previous versions of this mod, before WG implemented border-less window mode, worked flawlessly. So could this perhaps be related to alt-tabbing to desktop and WG implementing this?

 

I will monitor my session time + nr. of battles, if I alt-tabbed to desktop and upload the last python.log entry of said session. Also will make some screenshots of the glitch if it happens. Will post back when I have them!

No hurry as I won't be able make a fix before April anyway. I haven't tried the new borderless mode so that might very well be the culprit.

No problem, luckily it's nothing major just a first world problem :P A quick client restart fixes it anyway for quite some games.

 

Glitch happened yesterday again after 19 games. The 19th game, was so frustrated by being yolo'ed, I exited the battle before my hp went 0%. That is when the glitch showed up again in garage.

Python.log. The equipment_ctrl error is from Auxilium's mod auto equip/unequip function I guess.

Please note that this mod will not be updated before April at the earliest. In the event of a game update before that please look elsewhere for a similar mod.

Just use the current version. Have not noticed any issues sofar.

Unfortunately not as I don't want to maintain several versions.

I'm quite sure this function is allowed by Wargaming and shouldn't conflict with other mods.
