Are they similar in playstyle?

Yes, but surprisingly 34-3 is better in almost every way then 34-2 with 122.

200 more DPM, better armour, 10% better dispersion, a bit worse aim time. Similiar camo surprisngly.

Depends, T-34-2 is way smaller and far more agile.

Ok, thx. Too bad that tank is a bit overpriced if you ask me. Have to think about it.

T-34-3 is one of the funniest, challenging and best prems imo. Not a easy mode prem though.

After comments like quoted,  we're surprised that wg don't modify the horrible gun parameters of this crap.

I think they thought... Well it's a very expensive tank, but we found some outstanding players who think this is a very good tank,

so we don't change anything. The remaining tens of thousands of players ... they need learn to play... :D :D :D

P.S.

This tank need at least a pen buff, or change HEAT to APCR!

Yes, you'll like it. If you like the gun handling and penetration of an artillery, the agility of a heavy tank and the armor of a T54light.

I'm sure you'll love it.

for me it was the other way around, i bought the t34-3 in advance because i wanted to go down the line, i loved the t34-3 instantly.

It's fun and actually challenging to play but you can have consistent games in it if you play it to its strenght.

When i bought the t34-2, playing with 122mm just felt naturally for me. seeing tier 10 once in a while didnt hurt me too much but overall the t34-2 is a bit worse in my opinion.

I have the same crew for both tanks and also the same equipment on them and the t34-3 just felt superior.

Also it has pref mm which is nice!

T-34-2 is shittiest tier 8 medium - by far!!! No wonder you found -3 better . STA-2 , Prius, Revolver and SP got buffed while -3 sucks [edited]without hd model or ANYTHING! going for the tank oveer 112 or 111. But but but youre faster  . ... yeah - 5 % better mobility isnt worth tragic dpm , paper armor and fuel /ammo rack all over the tank . And ofc your gun sucks ballz on a big time. 3 marked it - still think its pos compared to ANY tier 8 premium.
