KEEP it on its own portal then FFS, what does that have to do with WOT?????

You already have ENOUGH problems with posting WOT stuff on WOT portal in TIME, try to focus on that first!!!!!!!

Quick with the insulting, are we?

PS: He plays better tanks than you're writing english. Feel free to find an excuse that's not applicaple to World of Tanks "skills", too.

desperate measures from warfailing to pimp a game that's going to fail hard within less than a year. watch this space.
no mention of this weekends special on a wot portal just a sad advertisement and wg wonders why no one trusts them.

If you think what Master of Orion is good game - play world of tanks more. Or you are part of WG stuff?:D

P.s.s English is not my mother language. And i have more priority things than my english grammar.

If you want a good 4X game, get Stellaris. MoO is meh.

Here is for ironic twists:

I was an ardent fan of the Master of Orion series. I played the first part a few years after it came out and found it great. So I bought the second part when it came out, found it a bit simplified, but nonetheless awesome, and played it forever. And then I followed the somewhat tragic development of the third part, where it was bought by different studios, finally released in a semi-finished state (which is basically the norm now, but was an outrage back then), a game that had tried to hard to be everything and couldn't achieve it, mostly because the AI wasn't up to the task of managing all the concepts of the game (also, something that has become pretty normal now, see the Total War series).

Trying to salvage some enjoyment of my favourite game series, I stumbled upon a fansite by one guy from my homecountry who published some mods. And one day, he presented a space-themed browser game he and some friends had made themselves. It was simple, yet complex, and captured me pretty hard, as it did for surprisingly many others. It always stayed a niche product, but I stuck to it for ten years.

And one day, a friend I made in that browsergame asked on the forum if people would try out that tank-themed game "World of Tanks" that was in its Beta Phase. A couple of us tried, played together, and got hooked. We made a loose, unambitious clan of players of our browser-game. Most don't play WOT anymore, but some do.

And now Wargaming has released a remake of the game that ultimately brought me to the game that brought me to WOT. I might buy and try MOO just for the nostalgia that evokes.

Life is funny sometimes. :)

Thing is stellaris is pretty meh too, Distant worlds does most things considerable better and its quite a bit older game. That said haven't tried MoO so can't judge in this case.

Considering WG MOO is just a remake of an 1996 game with "minor features like combat" simply cut out, I think you talk bull!

Stellaris release date is 9. May 2016, and it's like 10000% more game compared to the pathetic WG MOO attempt.

I liked the random factor in Stellaris. For example, there is no "research tree" in traditional sense. You always get a chance of discovering some tech, it is never certain. Some techs are common, some are rare. You can only point your research in some direction, but you never know what fruits it will bring. I also liked random events. Generally, this game actually brought something new to the genre.

The new MoO is just an old template with new graphics and dumbed down gameplay (combat, sigh...).

I've never played Distant Worlds. Generally, I do not play 4X games as much as I used to. I remember spending literally days on games like Fragile Allegiance or the original MoO. Or Star Trek: Birth of The Federation. Anyone remember this one? :)

The last 4X game I spent considerable time on was Sins of Solar Empire.

I wasn't comparing stellaris to MoO, I was comparing it to distant worlds which is much better. About MoO I said I cant judge since I have not tried it.

Funny. With WoT WG has demonstrated that business model of play-free-pay-for-added-value works.

Paying 30 Eur for a game just to try it - no thanks. Even ME3 and DA3 were a total loss. Trying remake of a classic for 30 eur would be the last thing on my mind.

From turn based strategies, I like Sid Meiers Civilisation series. This looks almost the same but in space. How this one compares to that? Why 30€- is worth for this?
