It looks very good and the Paris map was great very open for a city map and the multiple routs will make lemming trains a very unwise tactic.

Lights and fast tanks will have a great time.

 

The carousel was good only 2 things remain for me to be totally happy with the stock game.

1 the zoom in must have a default X2 would be good for me so the zoom level resets to that every time you enter sniper mode.

2 Autoaim, currently you have to be extremely precise getting autoaim to take, if you are trying to set autoaim on a fast moving target like a light tank its all but impossible.

If you are also in a fast moving light tank it truly is impossible.

The current mod version lets you right click near the tank and autoaim clicks in, adding that to the game would be great.

Light tanks really do not want to stop moving just to set autoaim.

I might be blind, but I cant find the setting to change the carousel into "compact-mode"?

M4A2E4 gets some HD love. Nice, very nice. Seems like a good update, overall. Just don't patch the game during t-44-100 marathon, pretty please.

Where would that be? Because when I mount/demount a camo net nothing changes in the stats of the vehicle.

Looks like a good update, lets hope those changes will be implemented in the end product. I saw a lot of mods being implemented, which is always nice. Looks good.

Have you EVEN played Paris yet? I have and its a good mixture for flanking and heavy brawling :D

Turning off chat with enemy team is really a good idea, 90% of that chat was pure toxic. New spotting is very nice too! I hope we will be able to turn off that damage indicators, that seems like too detailed and unnecessary info. I just hope new sound options will finally resolve my problem, when I install sound drivers gun and engines sound GREAT on speakers (5.1), but when I plug in headphones, the next time sub-woofer just doesn't work. I change options in game sound for 2.1, but it remains the same. Anyone had problem like this?

What I like about this patch

- Spotting gets fixed. 

- We get useful mods added, for example, seeing how your assist damage racks up while playing a light tank on the fly is really great. The event log is also better than the previous badge system, it is more discreet and anyone can modify which events to display, really well made.

- Other little UI additions, like active missions displayed right in the garage, the 2-row carousel although I don't really use it, because of the small laptop screen.

- Comparison of tanks is also great, but I'm sure most of the players interested in such things have already used to using external sites for that.

- New style minimaps that now look like proper maps on paper, not just massively unzoomed screenshots of the maps themselves.

 

What I don't like

- 100 mm caliber guns get a new sound, that is nice. But on the other hand 105 mm caliber guns now sound like a typical 120 mm heavy tank gun and it is really annoying and getting used to it is so hard. (Imagine even your M4 Sherman with derp sounding like a 120mm gun on E5.) Hopefully it is a bug that will get fixed or maybe that is what the developers intended to do, hopefully it will get changed. Driving a tier 10 medium whose gun sounds like a heavy gun is just.. ugh.

- This: . It just sits in the middle of the screen with this massive font and info about the vehicle that killed you. And it never disappears, which makes it even more annoying. Reason behind this must be forcing the players to go back to the garage and play the next battle? :trollface: I like that devs have updated this stuff, but it needs to be positioned better and the size of it should be changed.

- Horizontal stabilization in sniper mode does not work for some reason. It allowed you to turn your hull in the sniper mode and it did not influence where the gun/camera was pointed at. Without it turning the hull just sends you in another dimension.

 

Might have forgotten something, but these are the key points I noticed after playing a bit.
