Can anybody justify to me the price of these premium vehicles? I could buy a full AAA game for its price and this is just one ingame vehicle model...

little tank with  big gun, nice movement, awesome camo. but not noob friendly tank, so I wouldnt recommend it for ppl starting this game, ie less than 10k battles. less bushes in the maps atm, but on the other hand, tanks like su12244 are history with accuracy nerf. so this one is better atm

I guess its whatever the market will bear.

Time was I thought companies worked out how much something cost to make then added a reasonable profit and thats how prices worked.

Since then I have learned that the more expensive you price something generally the fewer you sell so prices are really determined by how much people are willing to pay and how many you want out there in the game.

The M56 Scorpion is a good TD I really like mine only thing I would improve would be gun traverse.

Yeah I have found the new damage indicators give your sneaky position away so people start shooting bushes from that direction. . I think it's a needed change especially at low tiers for new players with low view range crews to at least give them a chance.

Tanks not bad but nothing amazing. Gun bloom is really bad and tank doesn't  feel as mobile as you would think.

Couldn't have said it better.

@WG: Make the damage indicator less accurate, with less intel, and I will consider buying a premium TD with camo feature.

Oh and BTW if you could fix (by that I mean "get rid of" ) that auto-aim-with-lead-help-and-weak-spot-detection cheating crapin mods,  I - and many other honest players - would appreciate thank you.

I have yet to get one of these little guys but will give it a pass again due to other commitments at the moment..... Also I remember twerking one of these to death but just reversing backwards in to him in my ISU-152 as he thought it would be smart to park behind it to stop me turning around, turns out that didn't go so well ;)

Yes - it was fine before. If a tank is spotted, it's spotted, if not, then there's no way in the tanks of the WoT era that the crew would have any idea where a shot came from other than left/right/front/back at very best. No, I'm not asking for realism, but this information is just too much and has taken away the concealment aspect of the game which is important for lights and TDs.

As far as mods go, just block them all.

Actually, no he isn't. It is *very* easy now to line up a shot to where ever enemy fire comes from compared to the old indicators as the new ones draw a perfect line almost all the way to the centre of your screen.

But I guess we needed to dumb this game down further because apparently the quality of the player base is not yet bad enough in the eyes of Wargaming :)

not sure how much you will hit, if tanks are shooting from 400-500m of you.  if they are shooting from 100-200 you will spot them anyway.

got some strange unspotted hits, but its just every 10th game or so

but yes I agree this makes no sense, feeling like in circus now with that data flow

You can't buy a new top quality game for €20. It must be closer to €100 these days for a full game.

And older games don't count, as they don't have to pay for hosting a million people at once or continuous development.

It's a high price if you're the sort that wants to collect every tank yes, but it's probably about right for the average buyer who only wants 1-3 high tier premiums for the cash flow.

M56 Scorpion: 2428 WN8 and 61,38% WR over 189 battles.

Skorpion G: 1429 WN8 and 50,97% WR over 155 battles.

Somehow I'm doing better in this little beast. Obviously wiht 1mm of armour you have to play very conservatively, and the gun depression also gives you options over the G brother.

The prices aren't justifiable, but they are explainable.

The manufacturers of "free to play" and "in game purchase" games have managed to convince their customer base to pay the same for these games as they pay for other forms of entertainment.

There's the supper cheap stuff, like buying a chocolate bar (day premium £1), or a coffee (3 days £2.50).

There's mid range, a round of drinks (1 month £9, or 2500 gold £9)

There's a night out (Tier 8 medium £25, 90 days £25)

There's a date night (Super, mega premium bundle of something for £100).

The purpose of the super cheap stuff is to get you spending a little.  Most agree that it's better to spend 10 gold to move expensive equipment than to lose 600,000 silver.  Many will consider buying a days premium if they intend playing all day.

Once they' got you spending occasionally it's easy for you to justify spending £5/week or £10/month ("Basic Needs" is really easy to justify).

Once you're doing that you start considering a premium tank.  You've already justified the Churchill 3 for £6.50 and you start to think about Tier 6, 7 and 8.

You justify £35 on a Tier 8 because it's you birthday or, some other excuse.

Once you've bought 2 or 3 tier 8s you realise that you've spent £200-£300 on the game and so it becomes easy to keep "investing" with an annual premium account ("it's only about £1/week), and monthly purchases of gold and premium tanks.  To sustain your own belief that your expenditure is OK you encourage others to spend and criticise those who comment on cost ("WG isn't a charity, they have to pay staff and for servers").

The really high end bundles aren't there to be sold in high volumes.  They will sell a few but the main purpose of the "Supreme" and "Ultimate" bundles at £70 or £100 is to make the basic package, at £25-£40, appear reasonable.

At the end of the day it's your money and your choice.  Just don't expect any sympathy if, after buying something, some aspect of the game changes.
