Hi guys.

Does anybody heard of this problem before.

I just build a new PC. (GOOD HARDWARE)
i played WOT before i build the new pc and my laptop also have it installed.

So after installing windows 10 on the new pc i tried to download the game from Wargaming's website as everybody do.
But i says i cant connect to the website.
i tried download World of Warships, and that went fine.
Next i tried to download world of tanks on my laptop = didnt work either - Say's the same as my desktop (cant connect)
(My laptop runs windows 7)

A friend of my sent the install client over skype, and here is the same problem, i cant connect to there server/website

So i figured is had to be the internet. so i tried using my phone to "internetshare" my pc and it started downloading fine.

So my internet dosnt allow me to download from that website ?.

I tried restarting router, setting it to default setting, and restart. Nothing happens.

Havent had this problem before on the SAME internet. I HAVENT DONE ANYTHING TO MY INTERNET CONNECTION.

Best Regards
Martin Pedersen

perhaps your firewall is blocking it?

What do you mean by "it can't connect to website" ?

If you have the complete client folder, can't you just click WoT.exe in the root folder to launch tanks without getting the launcher up?

when im pressing the botton that says "Download Game" (on world of tanks website)
Is just says "there is no connection to this website" - Like, if you dont have any internet on the pc. and trying to connect to google.com

If tried having my friend sending me the WOT.EXE (Install Launcher). but it also says that it cant connect.

ill try calling my Internet provider on monday.

:S :S :S :S THIS SUCKS

You should indeed check your connection. How did your friend try to send it to you and did you get the installer or not? If you started the installer and it then says it cannot connect to the WG server i would suggest you flush your DNS. You do this by clicking the magnifying glass in your task bar and type in "cmd" (without the " " ). Then right click on that and select run as administrator. When the black window opens type in "ipconfig /flushdns" (again without the " " ). This will clear your DNS cache.

If you never got the file from your friend then i guess there is something wrong with your connection and you should have your ISP check it.

this also sounds like a DNS and/or firewall issue.

try to manually set google DNS servers and properly configure your filter programs

Are you Norwegian, and what's your ISP in that case?
