My current rig is in need of a slight overhaul, but right now it is:

Case: Antec Twelve Hundred

Motherboard: Asus P9X79 Pro

CPU: Intel i7-3820 (3.6GHz Quadcore)

Cooler: forgot, but some big piece of metal with a fan on it

RAM: 16GiB Corsair DDR3 1833MHz (2×8GiB)

GPU: nVidia GeForce GTX570

HDD: Kingston 120GB SSD

HDD: Western Digital 4TB HDD 7200RPM

PSU: forgot, but 800-900 Watts

Speakers: Logitech X-120

Monitor: LaCie Electron 22 Blue IV (20-Inch 4:3 2048×1536@85Hz)

Mouse: HP 155161-002 (one with a ball and wire)

Keyboard: Microsoft Wired Keyboard 600 Model 1366

All-in-all, a curious mix of old and new-ish stuff.

Spoiler

So yeah, I need to get a better GPU; prolly the RX 490(X) towards the end of the year; either an 8 or 16 GiB version, depending on availability and price.

True dat :playing: It'sa tad overkill for most games I play but I like the possibility to max out everything I have in my Steam library (except AC4: Black Flag, that poop is so poorly optimized I've had to dial down several settings to get a steady 60fps at 1440p...)

I did post the specs of my computer here ages ago and they are still the same so i won't bother with that. I did however just buy an Logitech G900 Chaos Spectrum mouse and i must say that i am really liking it so far. I used to have an Logitech performance MX that lasted me for almost 10 years until the buttons started working badly. Let's hope this one last that long too...

I'm playing WoT in Linux Ubuntu 14.04.5 LTS 64bit, (EU client is not working atm of writing in Linux, the NA client is, searching for a fix)

[Edit: copying the NA wine bottle to the EU one fixed the problem, not sure what was missing, but it works again]

Using Wine + CSMT (Command Stream Multi Threading) with the SD client set to maximum advanced settings @ 30~75 fps.

Hardware:

AMD FX 8370E running @ 3415/3726(8cT)/4450(4cT)Mhz (207Mhz NB) with stock vcore(1.375max) and a bump up in voltage on the NB, for stability.

MSI Geforce GTX 1060 3GB GT OC @ max 1950Mhz (under load it stays at roughly 1900Mhz), Nvidia Linux binary driver 370.28

12GB RAM DD3 1600 CL9 @ 1656Mhz (2x 2GB Corsair Vengeance LP + 2x 4GB Kingston Fury Hyper X)

Creative SB Audigy SE soundcard

120GB Crucial M500 SSD (Boot drive)

240GB OCZ Trion 100 SSD

320GB Western Digital HD 7200rpm

1080p 23.6" Philips 60Hz LCD

Logitech speaker set with subwoofer
