Coming from the Gaming stations topic, dont want to derail it more, so here it is.

For those with a passion for guitars besides WoT, show your guitar(s) here :)

I'll kick off.

1. Ibanez Jem 7Vwh, 3 DiMarzio Evolution pickups, pure heaven.

2. Samick Avion 6Ltd, bought it cheap only because of the looks :).

3. Ibanez AW40ECE NT, no pictures myself though from it, need to make one.

4. Squier Vintage Modified strat, also no photo :/

Beast with Seymour Duncan pickups, not easy to find, but if you ever see one for sale: Buy it.

I just own a rather cheap Fender CD-60 SB but thought about getting an electric guitar sooner or later. Sadly, I'm not sure what kind of model, amp etc would suite me:mellow:

Anyways, here's a pic i found on the internet because I'm too lazy to take a picture and upload it myself

Well here are them all now:

First is the LTD MH-250NT with SD pickups. Got it for a bargain but needs some maintenance. Behind it is my Blackstar HT-5 head with a Harley Benton 1x12 Vintage cab. Those HB cabs with the Celestion V30 speakers are really good quality, I used to have a 4x12 when I played in a band but sold that thing and recently got the 1x12 for home playing :)

Next is my Squier strat. Needs a complete rewiring and new pots so it's now just sitting and waiting for me to pick up my lazy [edited]and go buy the parts needed :D

Then last are my acoustic, which was the first guitar I got when I was 15, it's an Ibanez. Really love it still. And my Chinese knockoff 7-string. No model, no nothing, the neck, judging from the inlays is from a Dean Razorback, no idea about the body. The previous owner had changed the bridge pickup to a Seymour Duncan so it actually doesn't sound TOO bad, neck pickup is pure poop, though :P Also the neck is too thick for me, especially with the extra string.. But meh, I payed like 150€ for it and it's pretty :harp: Pic is really bad, the guitars being right in front of the window, but the 7-string is a really dark flame maple top with a green sunburst, and the acoustic is a nice red sunburst :)

Nice man :).

How is the Blackstar?

I'm running on a secondhand Marshall JCM800, bit too much for in-home use according to my neighbours :hiding:.

Lul, I don't think that problem will go away too easily :D It's a 5-watt all tube amp, and for home use I can't really dial it up any more than 0.5 / 10  It's quite tricky to get a mix of any drive in the tubes and an acceptable volume, really. But I really really love the Blackstar sound. I've been thinking the 1-watt head might be better for home, you could crank it up a bit more.

Here's my "posh" axe...a Schecter Damien Elite, with EMG active pickups.

I also have an old black Washburn X30 (a Strat copy with dual humbuckers) but the electrics are starting to go. Currently on the lookout for a nice electro-acoustic, not too pricey. Was thinking about getting an Ovation or Takamine.

Nice :great: My LTD is usually standard D or drop C tuning, Squier standard tuning and well, 7-string standard 7-string so BEADGBE, or drop A when I feel like it :hiding:

I read somewhere that they're extremely collectible now...especially original / older ones (RIP Jim Marshall). Could be worth quite a bit now if its in good nick. :great:

I'd love a proper amp but since I'm strictly a "bedroom" guitarist at the moment, I'm sticking with my Vox combo.

Well, it's in pristine condition, here in Holland a good condition one goes for around Eur 1000 now, so yeah it's a keeper.

Can fund my retirement in 40 years haha.

Nice! Like the Ibanez and thats a cute little acoustic. I was wondering whether to get a Vypyr amp before deciding to go with Vox.

Also looks like you have plenty of spare keyboards! ;)

No pics - but I play a Squier Strat which is older than me - and also have a cheapy flat-back acoustic.

My dad gave me the strat when I was about 13 or 14 (4-5 yrs ago) and wanted to progress fom acoustic to an electric - It was 'well used' at the time, so he resprayed the body a metallic electric blue for me - I like quite light strings (Ernie Ball Super-Slinkys by choice)

The cheap acoustic I've had about a year longer than the Strat. Bought as a birthday gift to practice on when I first expressed an interest in my dad's guitars.

These days it has flat-wound strings (because I play a lot of stuff with barr chords and don't like that finger-scraping sound you get when sliding barrs up and down the neck) Despite it's cheapness, it plays quite well, and with decent strings it has a nice tone.
