I used this program several times to update my drivers, but then it received update which broke it. Now it demands that I "log in" to it everytime I want to use it. Can I somehow still update my drivers with it without creating a new useless account or giving Nvidia my personal information?

Nope GF Experience requires a login now. You still can download most WHQL drivers from the nvidia site manually, but it might be not the latest "game ready" driver.

Just delete Geforce Experience. I've been using Nvidia GPUs for years and never used the software. You can always download official latest drivers from the Nvidia website, and when you install select the manual install instead of the suggested express install, and untick Geforce Experience so it won't install it back. The only downside to this is you have to periodically check for driver updates from the website since you don't have a program telling you new drivers have been released. But single drivers rarely have a massive impact on any game so it doesn't matter even if you get them a month or so later.

Well there is one good feature in GFE, it is shadowplay.

Granted, Shadowplay is decent if you need it. If you don't, the whole program is just waste of hard drive space.
