V. 1.06

Fixed T34 "Black Friday", KV-3, PzIV auf D, all HD tanks for 0.9.17.0.
Improved 85mm, 88mm flak 37, 85mm D-10-85 and 140mm japan.
Added support for 0.9.17.0, Swedish tanks.
Sounds are now in PCM lossless (ADPCM before).

Please fix it. I can hear WoT shots souns at the same time like Mods sound in Sowiet 85mm gun in tank T-34-85 RUDY

Please tell me why Soviet and American 76mm (British, French and Swedish 75mm also) guns sound like 75mm Japanese guns?

shot_75mm_jp - name of this sound (Japanese guns).

shot_76mm_ru - for Soviet guns.

The Script from Toldi III is bugged, WoT freezes if you chose Toldi III.

I like that sound the most of the 75/76 mm gun sounds, so I can see why Zorg would use them. You can always just replace them - although probably good to make sure to have a backup - with another sound (as I have done), for example:

 

shot_76mm_ru

shot_75mm_bis

shot_75mm_mid

shot_77mm

shot_32pdr (underrated favorite of mine, only in use on Churchill GC)

shot_88mm_flak (I put this one on my Chaffee and I like it)

 

If you want to feel even more powerful, go shot_120m or shot_122m and yes, the second m is missing, if you type shot_122mm your game will not start. :amazed:

Oh this is wonderful.

Since Wargaming changed the soundfiles and Gnomefatehrs mods didn't work anymore World of Tanks was not the same for me. I even think i got worse with the vanilla-sounds o.O. I never gave up on the hope someone competent would take it to the new system. (would have thrown money for that)

 

And you made it true, and i'm really thankful for it. It is really close to the original, but you added some own, and im really pleased with it. Great work! 

I wish i (we?) could help you with this project. Is there something someone can do?

 

If you could port the engines sound too i would be in heaven. I wish you luck with your plans.

 

I (sadly) must add some complains, too.

 

- For example as i wanted to take out my Alecto for a drive, the game froze in the loading screen. I had the 25pdr. equipped but im not sure if the game would freeze with other guns, because i did not yet test others.

- I can confirm the problem with the Toldi - the game gest stuck at loading the crew

In fact, this 75mm sound is not "japanese" but it's a "german" sound from WT. I use it a lot because I find him appropriate on these guns.

It's in my plans, but I wont get a lot of free time before middle-january, so I will work on this later. But thx for your answer !

Skorpion G has no gun sound for the players vehicle, but enemy vehicles and other friendly vehicles have sound.

E75 12.8 cm KwK 44 L/55 has no sound.

hmm, now you have 30 sec. till 1 min. no sound after battle starts, loading sound took too long time now.

maybe this helps from python.log:

This is a pretty minor bug report, but several tanks have the wrong statistics listed in the garage:

 

Panther 8,8 has the wrong tank traverse, engine horse power and gun depression listed.

 

M4A1 Revalorise has the wrong gun depression, accuracy and wrong aim time listed.

 

Super Pershing has the wrong penetration.

 

T34 has the wrong view range and aim time.

 

AMX 50 120 and AMX 50B have the wrong gun depression and elevation.

 

These are all tanks that were changed in 9.17. They should all just be text issues, but I thought I would report them anyway.

Which one ? An amd fx ? 6300 ? 8350 ? An intel ? i3, i5, i7 ? And what is your hard drive ? A 5400 rpm ? 7200 ? A SSD ?

This could be help me to publish a different (less heavy) version of the mod.

Great Soundmod, thanks a lot.

 

But i have one (stupid?) question.

 

All  the sounds are identical. There is no difference between inside the tank or the 3-person-view. Its always the same sound. Is that normal?

Because it's different from 9.13. In the old sound system, there were sounds inside the tanks and sounds outside. Now from 9.14, there are sounds for the tanks of the player and sounds for the tanks of the others players. Unfortunatly, I didn't have found a solution for this problem currently but i am working on it.
