I had this tank in my garage because I wanted to get to the LTTB, actually forgot I had it until today...............so what's it worth............. Well certainly not the 880000 credits I spent on it. ok so it's fast to a point, but OMG what is the point of the autoloader, average pen is 46mm.......................... hello, did you say 46mm, yep that's correct sir. So it's like a tier 3 or 4 then, erm no actually it's a tier 6............ complete waste of time, so don't use the autoloader I hear you cry, but why not, they are usually fun. Nope and nope, compare this to the tier 4 german Luchs light tank and you may as well go and take a bath with the MT-25, cos that is all its worth. Oh play it like a light tank you noob and spot, yep yep yep and nope, it is simply a load of space in my garage, if I could I would paint it pink and put neon lights on it and serve ice-cream from it. Maybe, just maybe I missed the point and yes maybe I have not played enough battles in it, like 3, but seriously, first impressions and all that, well it was like a first date where my date had bad breath and forgot their credit card. GIVE me strength, I will play another 20 battles and post my stats :-( wish me luck fellow tankers

Try mounting the 57mm gun with 112mm pen?

Yeahhh, so 822 XP with the 57mm, ok so I loaded some gold, so shoot me, On the way to the battle I managed to serve a few ice-creams and then managed some spotting. So forget the auto-loader, the 57mm is the key so 7 battles and 43% win rate with avg XP at 435 :-)

I got the MT-25 yesterday, I've played 3 games in it and despite mine having only the 2nd engine so it's rather leisurely, I love the little beggar.

Thanks to free exp I have the 57mm gun  which is great with some added gold ammo as well.

It's great fun, although I prefer my Type 64. With a good skilled crew, and equipment it can be a great scout and I have even won battles in it.

For some reason I didn't find the MT-25 all that good. The combination of low alpha, mediocre gun handling and bad gun depression make it difficult to deal damage reliably. Pretty much needs premium ammo too. 112 pen doesn't work against armored targets, even from point blank range. It has decent speed so it can be a good scout. But all in all tier 6 light tanks aren't very good anyway.. The LTTB is an absolute beast though, well worth the grind.

Just tested the mt25 and the lttb on the test server, and the driving/turning felt really uncomfortable. Was this because of relatively high ping (30-100) or are they really 'hard to handle'?

I use the 37 mm gun, pure gold ammo, it's fun. You can't pen heavy's, but you are a scout, you can one clip all other scouts in the game and even paper td's.

It isnt that bad , its loads of fun to drive it around.
The 57mm gun is quite accurate and fast shells so it can hit quite a lot shots.
The only downside is the low 80ish dmg per shot.
Its good mobile , good camo when stationairy so a good passive scout.
With all modules researched its just a fast little bugger.
Dont try to act like a big tank and play up feont , try to flank low hp tanks and avoid the big derp tanks.

I like the MT-25, it's a great little soviet speed-box. 57mm gun is obviously the superior gun I really do like 37mm autocannon, seeing a CDC or a waffleträger melt in a matter of seconds is hilarious. However you can forget killing anything with more armour than a women's magazine even if you spam apcr with it. Even if you use the 57mm carry a rather large amount of premium.

Cheers, W1SH

I carry 50% regular and 50% premium, no HE.

Awesome mobility LT.

The turretrotation is not what the stats say though.

The turret is much slower then the number suggest.

Which makes circling a bit harder thehn in most LT's

lol? its the fastest LT on tier 6. just drive around and make light. If u have no other job - push the arty or go passive scouting. Your job is not to do dmg. your job is to be useful so show the light. If u play at tier 5 or 6 then its even more simple: pick a nice bush, make ur 50 shots (from which 20 pen) and you are in top 2 by dmg dealers and u won. With 72 kmp/h u get away allmost from everywhere. If you have problems with other tier 6 lights - just ram them.

This has been by far my most succesful light tank along with type 64. 1983 wn8 and ~57% winrate in it and I just felt so comfortable playing it! Needed a little training for the crew with some tier2's to get 6th sense but after that it was a bliss!

A rocket light is what it is!

Which equipment would you guys recommend to use on this little devil?

I've been using binos and optics and vents for now, and got to second MoE. But it no longer feels like it used to before this patch - it's not really a scout, it now plays more like a fast medium tank.

So, is it worth it mounting v stabs on it? Should I stop using binos or vents?

What equipment depends on your crew.

I assume you have all trained in camo, maybe only 4/5.

In this case you do not need a camo net.

Binos are forcing a certain type off gameplay, which does not enbale you to make use of the MT-25 strengths, hence no binos.

I recommend, vents, v-stab, optics and Sit Awareness, Recon, Snap Shot, Smooth Ride.

Behave like a hybird LT/MT.
