- never trust Daily Mail

- i am more afraid of  my country  invaded  by US and A  to take our oil   than  i am afraid of Russia attacking us

I think we only need to worry if there are significant numbers of ethnic Russians or people with any sort of Russian ancestry in neighbouring Eastern European countries. If Putin is out to make more territorial grabs, I think he would only do so if there were any kind of legitimacy (even if it is flimsy). Basically copying what he did with Ukraine.

That said, even allowing for the fact the source is the Daily Fail, if NATO really are going to deploy large numbers of troops, you have to think they've received some sort of intelligence to get them worried.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3912398/NATO-puts-300-000-troops-high-alert-readiness-confrontation-Russia-fears-grow-Putin-preparing-attack-West.html

Or he could go the tried and tested route and claim acts of aggression, or terrorist threats from the countries he intends to invade, "in the interests of national security".

Even Putin isn't dumb enough to order his forces to simply roll across borders without any kind of reason. I wouldn't put it beyond him to have some kind of elaborate excuse though. Possibly enough to stall NATO long enough to consolidate his gains before we can figure out what to do. Still pretty outlandish, but if it were to happen, I imagine it would go something like that.

That article was so full of crapI can't even beging.. It paints the T14 Armata as a brand new super tank designed in secrecy that NATO only just now found out about, makes stupidly vague references to it's capabilities (ehrmagerd it is capable of firing armor piercing and high explosive rounds, as well as the option to launch anti-tank missiles woop woop) missing out on almost everything that actually makes the Armata particularly good. Also it makes it sound like a war is going to break out in the next week or so :D

Lol.

They took Crimea and destabilised Ukraine because (quite reasonably) they wanted to ensure the continuance of their Black Sea Fleet (their only warm water Western port, and maintain a land corridor to it) which is strategically essential to them. There is no strategic issue between Europe and Russia, other than it helps Putin's popularity with the Russian public if he acts big and tough and sabre rattles. So he must be down in the Russian polls, or needs some more support for something, or needs to look like he's in more / dominant control over Syria, so pretends to square up to West, or gets them to square up to him so he can act tough. It's so predictable, Crimea and Ukraine were completely predictable (the Ukrainian Govt were idiots for not anticipating & rolling with it, like the Georgians before them, and the EU were either idiots too for also not anticipating & accommodating the Russians, or plain dishonest for playing along with the Ukrainians cuz they should / must have understood the Russian's position and inevitable outcome. Like Cuba, what a load of **** that was. The American's were the aggressors putting short range fast strike nukes (that were sub continental and could hit without warning & avoid retaliation) in Turkey, the Russians retaliated with a plan to put short range nukes in Cuba to restore the balance. America started that stand off, their fault, and it was fixed when America agreed to withdraw their nukes from Turkey (that's what caused the Russians to agree to back down, when the Yanks did first), but it was presented to us completely differently.

You are being played OP. Most media, certainly educated like Daily Mail knows very well what's really going on and they just play their public to create interest (drama if possible) to sell papers. You're confusing entertainment with news.

edit and that new tank is a political stunt, it's essential to Putin's popularity that the Russian people believe they are still a super power, that people are still scared of and who could win a World war. Russian equipment has been continually embarrassed against Western stuff, apparently that sub sinking was the final straw. They have no real use for a top tank (other than impressing the Russian public), it's all just politics.

Considering the recent election, it'd be far more likely for murika to be the aggressor.

It is ace, hopefully finally the end of stupid entirely dishonest Neo-Liberalism. Blair and New Labour gone, EU membership gone, finally the original instigators the Clinton mobster dynasty cabal gone too. Hurrah, and we're front of the queue with America for a trade deal :-)

And Trump will be friends with Russia :-)

Don't be afraid of the WW3. If in any case a war ends up between USA and Russia, it will be the end of the world :)

if there is a war, the first will disappear all the small countries which are placed in the air defense of NATO, a first strike nastignet to deprive them of protection. If of course this protection works, but not a great fiction are not able to withstand modern offensive weapons.

And war in the near future will not, because Donald Trump is not a politician he is a businessman, and businessmen agree to not fight and agree.
