Now remove arta and you might actually have a decent game after 5 years.

This is a welcome move,

Im still not sure about the status of Autoaim + which is vanilla autoaim but with the ability to lock onto an enemy by clicking near the enemy tank rather than exactly on it.

Since I have dropped using it till I find out for sure im good.

Be a pleasant surprise if it was added in 9.17 though  ;)

What about the mod which helps us autoaim while moving? (It is a classic autoaim that is provided ingame but the process of aquiring target is easier)
(Extremely usefull for fast mediums/lights which often shoot while moving)
Is it considered a cheat?

Hi pmakins,

If the mod provides more functionality than the “aim lock” in the vanilla client, specifically including those that aim at the enemy's weak spots and/or lead the aim automatically, yes. :)

I don't use any mods, and really think there should be none, but this is nevertheless a good start. :)

Remove XVM as well and there will be no complaints about arty. For over a year i'm playing without it and my gameplay is improved and also now i enjoy this game much more then i did before. I'm focusing on positions and tanks that i consider to be of tactical value more then random names and unicums, and becouse of that my win ratio is holding around 58/59%. And I consider myself to be an average player. XVM must go out, no use from it!

No, they get removed. No need to sell them.

This is a very welcome move but how will it be policed? Are you just going to be relying on peoples honesty, because those that use these mods obviously don't have any.

I appreciate the way you want to take on forbidden mods, yet I don't understand how exactly you guys decide to do so, because if you would have a method of actually doing it, there would be numerous bans and followed by those numerous crying threads of players that are either unaware of what they are using or are aware but they think it's not their fault.

Also, if you do indeed want to fight those, why not get a solid win from start, by removing the res_mods completly. As you show in the first category of mods, the visual ones, those can be also made by altering textures, that will not help the player whatsoever, with the exception of a hitzone paint.

I still don't understand why do you have to fight something that can be removed and solve the problem all-together.Right now, deleting res_mods folder will not allow the game to start. Why not do the opposite, and allow it to start without reading anything from it.

So auto aim+ is considered what? It could be considered in category 2?

Advanced AutoAim+ Mod lets you autoaim without targeting the enemy exactly. Illegal?

What about showing HP Pools (Armagomen)? What about Damage Log Mod (Gambiter)? What about Direction Indicator Mod (Spoter)?

What is the armor viewer? Is it the view of the effective armor at aimspot like in meltymath mod or are we talking about hit zone skins?

hey WG i have an interesting idea and you may think i'm crazy. put unfair mods on SALE.But sale them for hundreds of dollar! think of it as the pz II aust j; extremely OP tank that you can get on a special time of year. it costs nearly £100. but putting these unfair mods for that kind of money can just show how sad and lifeless a person can be and that's the type of people you can now, thanx to me, watch out for:trollface: however i still support this and banning these idiots is the right way to go
