Are you reading yourself? making it easier changes the funcionality... its making easier something that its hard in purpose... wtf

activation and functionality are two different things, and you should make the distinction. The functionality is no different than the vanilla client, and yes, while the activation is improved and a much needed gameplay improvement, it is not the only mod that allows that. So if you want to ban autoaim+ for its improved activation, than you should ban other mods as well like battle assistant and zoom out mods that improve the gameplay of certain functions in the game.

Again, I dont care if it is banned or not, all I want is clarity. Especially if WG starts banning people with no evidence given. I pretty much play vanilla any way.

Thread is getting long, so apologize if it has been asked:

XVM recenty launched a reload timer in the damage panel. Is it now a forbidden mod?

If you cannot remove res_mods, and also cannot ban cheaters, why don't you do a mod, like Platoon, or Team battle where you can play with and against only players who don't use mods? Or make server EU1 for mod players and EU2 mods free?

And what about the clickerview / Battle Assistant mod?

It's already implemented in the Sandbox test version.

Seriusly, the funcionality of the vanilla AutoAim its that everytime you right click ON a tank the gunner with aim at it automatically...

And the AutoAim+, its that wherever you right click the gunner will follow the closest tank to your aimpoint...

So seriusly, you wanna discuss if the method of activating the autoaim changes the functionality? Seriusly?

Even the functionality itself separated of the activation method its different! cmon!

Wanna keep cheating... do it... but dont enter battles you cant win... IMHO

Block Quote

Before punishing a player, our team will review the case to ensure the discipline is merited. We’re asking you to trust in their decisions. They are under no obligation to provide the player evidence or explain which mod type the player was found to be using, and will not do so even if requested.

So looking at inconsistency of your support staff and forum moderators I should have blind trust on your staff not to make his own judgement calls or maybe actually doing mistakes? One day I might just notice that my account which I have invested xxxx euros is permabanned _and I will not get any evidence or explatation why_

It was about time. At least now we have a list of what is concerned illegal.

Furthermore, every body who plays an internet game must obey the EULA rules and we all have agreed to it the first time we have logged in...

That is all we need so as to characterize something as illegal or not.

I hope we will see some bans soon.

P.S. the only time I feel afraid that I will be killed by an arty is when I drive an arty. 25% of the times I get destroyed in an arty it is by another

arty (even though I relocate very frequently), whereas only 5% when driving other kind of tanks, even heavy.

Any idea how to remove it? I just use the vanilla download version, no idea how to edit the settings?

As XVM is WG approved, will this be removed in line with this new ruling?

Well I'm sure xvm will just take it out themselves soon enough. A statement about the autoaim+ mod needs to be done though.

Excellent News! :)

But I hope you are prepared to make more clarifications. I guess when you decided to implement this officially, you were expecting that there would be a lot of questions about legality :)

So here are mine:

#1

Software that leaves “ghosts” of enemy vehicles on the battlefield, placed where they were last detected

Does this mean the "last spotted" functionality from xvm on the minimap?

#2

Skins on tanks. More specificly skins that show weakspots etc. Is that legal?

I know a lot of people use this.I dont like it myself, but I would love for this function to be in the garage.

#3

The autoaim+ (or whatever), that just makes it easier to lock, like plenty already have mentioned. I think this is a better version for the game and should be in the vanilla client, this I hope it will be determined for category 2.

#4

Arty view mod. I have it installed by very seldom use it, since I actually like the vanilla view better. But I have a friend who loves this and would hate to se it go.

now all you have to do is remove premium ammo, you know the cheat WarGaming put into the game. why encourage players to grind for a slow but heavy armoured tank, then give everyone and their dog the ability to penetrate it easily with the "WG official Cheat Ammo".

also it would remove the wannabe unicums ability to spam the premium ammo so making him actually work to get his pens instead of fire and forget, your own words are to make this game enjoyable for everyone, not just the select premium spamming idiots.

Totally support this, however I don't really see how you are going to find the cheaters in the first place, unless your SW allows you search the mod directory on a player's PC.
