@_LUL_: The EU last year, or 2014, introduced new legislation. Where it regulates unfair treatment of digitally bought goods. Premium tanks bought with real money fall under this article.

WG is registered as a EU branch company, which pays VAT to the European country where it is registered. From top of my head it was France, but dunno excact.

 

If WG decides to nerf the premium tanks which were sold online for cach, to the EU registered branch company, any one could claim Wargaming for changing this digital product for the worse. This could cost them a lot of revenue, as they either will have to repay the customer back or I recon oppose this in a subdistrict court (dunno the exact term).

Do you see the predicament they are in and the issues in addressing overperforming premium tanks.

Nope I think it's a decent tier 8 tank but OP? not at all. Most tier 8 tanks will pen you frontally and anything firing gold at tier 8 or above will pen your turret.

Pen turret? Yeah, but no. There is a 'weakspot' of 260-ish armour in a strip next to both sides of a gun... terrible weakspot.

 

This tank is vastly superior to pretty much all contenders for hulldown possition in both tier 8 and 9 games, only things comming close for hulldown are T32 (which is worse vs tier 8 and 9, better vs tier X) and, what a surprise, Liberte.

 

This tank is OP.

No Worry you can get now the T34B, so you can have an obsolete T34 but in BLACK.

Maybe it depends on your expectations. :-)

 

As an average player I like my T34 very much. Gun & turret are great, the rest is a question of how you handle it.

 

T26E5 is nice, I like the better handling, but struggle with the lower alpha. Maybe I play it too much in well-known T34-style.

 

When I'm placed in a Tier10 game I really miss T34s penetration, when I'm placed in Tier8, it's like "Woohoo!" :-)

I bought the tank, and from my experience it's not that great in Open maps with arty and tier 9-10 games what it seems to get most of the time.

In tier 8 it's great if you can go hull down, if not every tier 8 enemy will pen you in the hull, even in the turret if they start shooting premium ammo.

It's hmm, it's a good tank, for us mediocre players. And probably godlike in the hands of a super unicorn"but in those hands what tank is not?

 

In hindsight i think i should have bought the French one, that thing can not be penned by same tier, not even tier 9. Just need to hide that cupola on the top.

 

The only reason i bought it, i need a good american heavy premium because i think i am ready to go up that line until tier 10 now

They are closer than I would have thought, but i prefer the t26 Patriot because of three reasons: RoF, Mobility and most important, resistance/durability to SkyPigs (M4 has NONE).

​to be fair I just came back after a 2year+ break. Since I allredy had the slow af T34 I closed my eyes on the horrible skin on the patriot.. and omg its OP as hell compared to T34 by a very long margin ..

tbh if WG release OP tanks like patriot and liberte , what about the rest of the prem tanks  ? this is not going into a good direction , they're going into the PAY 2 WIN direction 

 

now tell me something , why should i buy the t34 when there's patriot? , why should i buy fcm when there's liberte ? and i bet you that they'll release in the future some OP medium tanks to replace the old ones.

 

i see what WG is doing , they keep making prem tanks better with each release and they kinda force you indirectly to buy them cause they're better than what you already have

the tank is not op, it is good and fun to play, but it doesnt have hull armour like advertised, t32 witzh his 198 pen pens every single time without aiming( not like they said 50-50 chance if u have 200pen) 

plus the gun cant hit crapfrom a distance, that's very inaccurate for such low alpha, and the turret gets penetrated, not easily but 110 seemed to get two shot through sniping from 200m, in that little cupola that ''no one can hit''

 

but then again, it is extremly fun to play once you start playing the tank like it was ment to be played from a perspective of a average player

Its not overpowered, but certainly is a great tank, fast becoming my favourite premium.

T34 does have better pen tho, but yeah. That being said, T34 needs a buff anyway because its powercreeped and has outdated stats. Its possibly last tier 8 premium remaining that follows old rule "prems are better than stock but worse than elite tanks", since Löwe is also getting buffed too.

It performs like a great t8 tank should, but I don't think it's OP. Just an all around good tanks without any blatant weaknesses (except maybe for terrible ammorack). Hull armor is easy to pen for tier 8 tanks, turret sides are not great.
