@_LUL_: The EU last year, or 2014, introduced new legislation. Where it regulates unfair treatment of digitally bought goods. Premium tanks bought with real money fall under this article.
WG is registered as a EU branch company, which pays VAT to the European country where it is registered. From top of my head it was France, but dunno excact.
If WG decides to nerf the premium tanks which were sold online for cach, to the EU registered branch company, any one could claim Wargaming for changing this digital product for the worse. This could cost them a lot of revenue, as they either will have to repay the customer back or I recon oppose this in a subdistrict court (dunno the exact term).
Do you see the predicament they are in and the issues in addressing overperforming premium tanks.
