Hi, guys i am new on the forum and i am writting here just because i need help so fast or will bream my computer! I believe that i opened this topic on the right place.

My problem is that I have lately often appears this message: "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered. - Displey driver NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 376.19, stopped responding and has successfully recovered."

I cant play wot normal, crashing the game with this message is unstopable. I download the lastest driver, updated all drivers on computer, changed "Power managment mode" in nvidia experience and it still not working and crashing. Graphic card is Gigabyte Geforce GT 640 2gb, its old i know, but for my needs is sufficient. Thank you!

I see 376.19  is the latest Nvidia driver.

You got the driver crash after you updated the driver ?  Or you got the crash  before the update ?

Because if you got the crash after you updated your graphic card driver   you can  uninstall it and install  older version for driver.

For example i have 376.09   and works fine.

What  Windows you have and what is it 32 bit  or 64 bit ?

376.09 download :

win 7, 8, 8.1 32bit : http://www.nvidia.co.uk/download/driverResults.aspx/111840/en-uk

win 7, 8, 8.1 64bit : http://www.nvidia.co.uk/download/driverResults.aspx/111858/en-uk

win 10 32bit : http://www.nvidia.co.uk/download/driverResults.aspx/111894/en-uk

win 10 64bit : http://www.nvidia.co.uk/download/driverResults.aspx/111912/en-uk

So uninstall  your actual driver !!!  and install the older one from the links above (corresponding to your OS specs)

Have this problem all the time, before the update and after the update. I remeber when i was tried rollback driver to the last (with ddu, in safe mode) and it still continue crashing. Dont know what to try next :(

Run some diagnostics on your computer. At this point it could be an broken graphics card or even a broken hard drive. You might also want to check the event viewer for any more specific information related to the error and also see if there are any other errors happening at the same time as this. It could also be windows that is somehow broken. You could try running "sfc /scannow" to see if it helps. In my experience it rarely does but it wont hurt and is worth trying.

I had the same problem when 9.15 arrived. The game would start and crash randomly during the game

The solution was embarrassingly simple:

Change the cpu affinity of worldoftanks.exe. The new versions do not handle the windows interrupts on core 0 and 1 in combination with a Nvidia GPU that well. By going to taskmanager  --> details you can select the program and set the affinity to the last cpu cores ( windows uses 0 and 1 for its own interrupts).

Before that I tried running in compatible mode, running windowed, changing resolution, loaded about 6 driver versions and nothing worked.

Down side You'll have to do this by hand ( or write a very long batchscript)

Hope this will help
