And of course they will have the audacity to tell us tomorrow or whenever the patch comes that "server offline due to scheduled maintenance"... which they never actually announced so it can not be scheduled.

Tomorrow. Every news site has already posted this but as always WG EU is slow as a snail on the Peruvian Salt Plains in terms of news that actually interests the player base.

You just succeed to create a completely useless branch, I was saving free xp to grind fast but now, with all the 122mm gun in the game,from tier 6 and up, auto penetrating it, the Swedish TD are impossible to play, very nice work guy... I'm sure some guys at WG will get some love for that complete disaster.

Ehh I dont like new tanks in low tiers... Good players come and play them at tier 5.

Look at this derpy 300 dmg on the tier 5 one with ~11 sec reload...

Ok its a similar gun whats on the O-I exp BUT this is a TD with good camo... One shotting all tier 3's without getting spotted... :bush::child:

I can understand why they add new thanks but they are changing the playstyle too much.

Well i hope they will finaly work on french heavy tank branch. Have been waiting for it a long time.

S1 looks appealing prem tier 8, but if its implemented in supertest just now, then prob it will take few months to balance. Without overmatch redisign, they coud make it OP in gun & mobility to compensate armor issues. Later on, it will cause balance issues (EU property policy).

One new nation per year? Whuh..

Congratz to WG for releasing a totally useless branch. WP!

A company like yours should not try to take two steps at a time. You just don't have the talents needed for that and many colossal fails like Rubicon etc are the proof. Why not first implementing the new Overmatch system and then launching the TDs? Like this we have another totally useless zombie line in the game...sitting there with Type 5, FV 4005 and some other utterly shitty tanks. WP

Why insisting on pissing off clients over and over again?

Merry Xmas and some brain for 2017 @WG

Make good use of cover and try to stay a step or two behind the first line to avoid exposing the thin armor

Ok fair enough, so where is the "cover" in

Himesdorf

Pilsen (East side is suicide, no cover

Stalingrad

Winterburg (both variants

Kharkov

and on and on ~

even with so called open Maps most of the cover has been removed (improved comfortable play they call it) for 'corridors' as much better (?)

or bushes that just don't work anymore, but used to?

TDs without a turret in WOT today are a 3rd class tank and do not do well in 4 minute turbo slaughter battles (no turret!

play TDs erm ~ No! not anymore

The nail head has been thoroughly hit.

Good point well made.

Lack of turret is overrated. In dog-fight detracking it is a huge pain and peek-a-boo at corners. Ridge fighting - not so much. Sniping - not at all.

TD with a traverse speed 30deg+ can handle close fights well. Circling a JP2 or Foch with a MT can go messy.

Lack of front armor is frustrating in city maps. This is wery important to carry assault gun role.

For now it looks, that tier 8-10 will be support for MT wolf packs or red-line snipers.

they seems to have very high backward speed so in right hands might become a deadly weapon. And I like how they look like

Problem with the TD line so far is zero armour well ok extremely poor armour.

While you cannot expect low tier tanks to have good armour mid tiers and above its not unreasonable.

The Swedish TDs were going to depend completely on camo and changes to the overmatch settings.

Now the extremely good sloped armour of the line doesn't come in till you get to tiers 7 8 9 and 10.

Swedish TD armour

II = 10mm

III = 18mm

IV = 50 wow amazing I might just stop here

V = 18mm

VI = 15mm

VII = 15mm

VIII = 20mm

IX = 40mm

X = 40mm

Its really not going to be much fun in tiers 5 and 6 with such poor armour and those are the tiers where you tend to make lots of credits train crews and so on.

They do have decent camo values and I am going to play them all but for none turreted TDs its not going to be easy..

Its not all bad news though guns speed maneuverability and gun depression are good.

Since I enjoy playing my Scorpion with its 1mm of armour I should get some good games.

The tanks only exist in the fictitious minds of WG that they took from some sketches a 15 year old Swedish shoolboy did for his school project once a long time ago. Like most of the tanks on here they are just made up so can be whatever the devs decide they will be. If someone drew it, they can make it. Never mind the fact it could never actually function. OP no problem, use the historical accuracy excuse that works on the majority of the player base so, go with that.
