FCM and/or T34. Neither really need to use gold ammo. The Skorpion G is getting praise as a great credit earner but I've never played one.

Haven't seen the figures but I'd have thought the FCM due to the fact of it's 212mm pen and limited MM. It's fast enough to flank heavily armoured tanks too. And because of said speed you're never left behind and can clean up towards the end of battle.

Plus at 50T and it's top speed you have a fantastic battering ram. High damage without after to fire a shell.

Best moneymaker is the one you like to play the most. I've found I play Skorpion G most solo and FCM in toons with another pref mm friend.

The new clown tanks make a lot...2k damage in the patriot makes about 70k.  It might go back on sale soon.

The best moneymaker is the FCM. You just need to do NOT BAD in it. I'm a below average player and I usually get 15.000 - 40.000 credits in it, even if I do only 500 dmg.

But this tank is very very dependent on the team in some maps. If the team has some real heavies and they know the basics you can be very useful with this tank as a second line support.  You just appear over a hill shoot and then retreat - the enemy wont have the time to aim and  shoot you sicne you are faster and you have a decent gun compared to them.

But the tank is huge and you have no camouflage  at all. If you stay in one place and arty targets you you are dead. (Even though that has happened only one time to me... probably because I move a lot because I play light tanks usually.)

Ok what works for me for really fast and solid money making with no premium tanks or even the need to shoot anything much is scouting in my tier5s. The ELC and Chaffee are my weapons of choice for this with the Leopard also a solid option I keep in the rare event both others are tied into a live round in which I got killed. Done correctly, scouting is very profitable and easy enough to master. Thanks to scout mm u can be matched much higher tiers and gain really massive amounts of dmg assist. The reason I am leaning towards not shooting anything is 2 reasons, 1. while these scouts are very capable at attacking, initially they really should be just used for remaining invisible spotters in bushes at known map crossing points or popping up over crests of hills at 80kph JUST to light targets and hopefully the team u are with start landing heavy shots from a safe distance and u can just glance at that dmg assist meter race up and up and know your cash is also racing up and up. 2. I choose not to go on the offensive in my scouts unless needed too or late on in a fight because of course u lose all that lovely camo value briefly but its actually also a nice rest for my eyes and mind from having to concentrate so hard on shooting targets as I normally do in other tanks.

This is team reliant of course and can be a little annoying when matched with a bunch of hopeless noobs or over conservative hesitant types but thats why these tanks I've mentioned are on balance, such solid money makers imo. If u do get matched with losers and they ignore your scouted targets or camp or whats obvious etc and u eventually end up the last player on the team or killed having made little or no dmg assist.. thats ok.. they, like all tier5s are VERY cheap and rather than getting mad just go immediately back to garage, chose one of the other mentioned scouts and start a new round, very quickly u will  notice the credits climbing up and up ;)

Any of the new three premiums(Skorpion, Liberte, Patriot) sh*ts out silver. Other good options are FCM, T34, Löwe and interestingly enough Revalorise. Usually having high penetration and overall a big gun helps a lot.

The tanks to avoid are the ones that have low penetration such as the 175 pen tanks(like IS-6), T-54 Mod 1 or T-44-100.

From my experience after the penetration buff in this patch for SP, now it earn really good and it may be a strong contender at being the best earner. But i also hear that T-34-3 earn pretty good for each damage shell you land but looking at gun stats and taking same trail of thought i can definitely say that Revalorise seems much better. It has same alpha, on average 25mm more penetration and shells cost half the price. Only "terrible" downside would be that it doesn't get preferential MM but regarding income might actually still be better as you will get better income when damaging higher tier tanks.

T54m/T-44-100 have a bit above 180, not quite awesome but not totally bad either.

The special tanks might be pretty good but they sell pretty expensive also.
