XVM mod virus

Hi!

Any1 else notice that XVM contain virus? The first that was released to 9,17 vas infected, and same with the latest.. Since it's no way you can ask or inform them, I go this way.

It's infected by: W32/Exploit.gen

I don't know where you downloaded your XVM or if your anti virus programm is crap but try this one and see what happens. http://www.modxvm.com/de/download-xvm/

I never download from other websites then modxvm.com and I don't know if you can say that Panda antivirus is crap. Maybe I should ask what kind of crap do you use since it doesn't detect the virus..

My experience with panda is that it's worse than any plague. I recommend you try something else.

Many anti-virus software creates false alarms, Symantech  is widely know for it, 

even you use Panda, I wouldn't be afraid as it is most likely false alarm,

under my 20 years of playing games, sometimes cracked games too,

I have only encountered virus 2 times, and believe me, I have downloaded stuff from pretty shady websites,

to be infected by Virus is an incredibly low chance, much much lower than people think.

Anti-virus software mostly only lags down your computer, the built in Windows anti-virus is all you need.

mosly there are just adaware and stuff like that floating around the net,, that is not virus,

and the Windows software will detect that kind pretty easy
