Just bought 2 decoration boxes and got Patton KR and 500 gold but don't know what equipment to put on it. Any suggestions?

Depends on your crew, but I'd go for optics so you can be a little more useful in bottom tier games IMO. So when you peek over the ridges you can spot a bit.

It's either vents, rammer, v-stab or vents, rammer, optics for me. If you have good crew and they have smooth ride & snapshot you may go for optics to maximize view range. With v-stab the tank has extreme snapshotting potential, so you can really avoid getting hit. Very good tenk btw.

I run vents, vstab, optics.

My game tends to be vision oriented. With vents and optics (+ recon on the commander and situational awareness on the radio operator) my view range is around 462m. It gets quite a bit of assisted damage.

Vstab in stead of rammer because I find that for me reducing aim time is more useful than a faster reload.

Regards, C.

Vstab, vents and rammer for me and I'm struggling. I'd certainly appreciate some guidance on how to get the best out of it.

I just seem to get bullied too often and cant control the engagement at all. Even if I'm only exposing the tiniest bit of my turret when playing ridge lines etc.

Abuse snapshotting ability not to get shot in response. This is the best way to play KR. It can hit even most incredible shots. Select squishy targets and hit them without aiming at all. Use autoaim on ridge lines (helps sometimes). When in tier 10 mm play 2nd line support. Don't be afraid to press 2-2 in this environment.

Standard, same as the Pershing:

-Vstab.

-Rammer.

-Coated Optics *or* Vents depending on what you prefer.

I'm running coated but vents improve all crew skills.

Cheers. yes I've also had a few "lucky ones" with this tank.

Basically dont hang round seems to be the best policy. Much to learn with this one.

Exactly. The turret is not really reliable, even after the buff. But you can and will pull off crazy snapshots. Just trust the gun to hit where you plan and do it quick :)

Cheers. Agree on the turret. I'll give it a go.

tempted to give optics a try and play a little deeper than I have been. Bit too close to the front at times I think rather than being a little more conservative and looking for softer opportunities. Not easy though when everything about this tank screams ridge lines and they tend to be right at the front. Sand River defence for example.

Might work for you, it depends on the preferred playstyle. I'm usually rather aggressive, also with squishy meds. It's not a sniper, mind you, as you don't have the pen and accuracy for sniping. So it needs to be mid-range most of the time.

Rammer, V.Stab, and Optics for me. The V stab definitely makes a difference in accuracy, especially longer range. I try to use the gun depression as much as possible. Prokhorovka Hill for example. Even Paris map has some good spots.

Still struggling a bit to be honest but we'll keep trying. To be fair one of my problems comes down to map awareness I reckon. It's ok poking your turret above the ridge line but you need to be aware if your exposing more to another tank on your flank.

It is frustrating getting nailed in the gun though. I'm having to use the repair kit a lot to fix a damaged gun. Happens twice in games sometimes.

"Armorer" on the gunner might be worthwhile if you find it breaks a lot and there's no other skill you need. It makes a broken gun a little more useful, but never found it to be a huge problem anyway.

I run my KR with Vents/stab/rammer, but optics will make it more useful in T10 games for sure.

How far away are you meant to snapshot from? Coz whenever I poke out, I seem to always get hit by something with massive alpha!
