Hi there,

We believe that naming and shaming wouldn't help and releasing such a list wouldn't benefit anyone. However, we want you guys to know that we're working on creating a clean environment you can enjoy. :)

Kandly

But perma banned players should be named and shamed. (They are out of the game so why not?)

Its against the law. To revel private info.  I think it also applies to nicknames. ! So sadly WG will not release it.

Good luck on the Battle Field , may your bullets fly straight and true.

There aren't even hundreds of thousands playing on EU, man. Stop talking nonsense, please.

I was talking about all players active on the servers at some point during the week: usually there are 30-40000 on EU2 and 60-70000 on EU1 on average during normal hours (12:00 until 24:00), almost double that during week-ends and peak times, which totals about 100000 on average.  Considering a lot of people DON'T PLAY EVERY DAY and DON'T PLAY ALL DAY, you can safely assume there are easily close to a million active WOT players on EU servers during the week, probably more.  Registered users on EU servers are several millions, you can look that up on Google if you want. So it's not nonsense and you had better show some respect to other users and avoid patronising like a know-it-all, looking at your avatar you really do not look the part.

why would it not benefit, likr on other servers it does, since cheaters should get shamed for doing it

So how does it help you personally if someone else gets shamed on the forum?

A penalty for 5300 accounts and some permabans. Great stuff! +1

I think they are limiting the search for cheaters... 5000 a time...

Please have in mind that naming and shaming can bring severe legal problems to WG in EU and NA.

WG's policy against naming and shaming is not a nice gesture from their part. It is purely a legal firewall to prevent lawsuits.

Having said that, WG could release some generic data about the banned accounts. As an example:

"From the XXXXX temporarily banned accounts, 25% have more than 10.000 battles, 50% more than 5.000 battles and 25% less than 5.000 battles.

From the YYYY permanently banned accounts, 10% have more than 20.000 battles, 40% more than 10.000 battles and 50% less than 5.000 battles."

Because the WG bann some old accunt, the inactive players. This is buisiness, and never ever bann anybody the wargaming he pay for it and use it this game, because it is not good deal. So lot of guy crying abaut aimbot and some other shits mods, and he get this good lie, TIME TO HAPPY!

Because the list is a proof of the new ban wave.
Temp. baned players could get insult or other things but perma. baned players are non existing for the game anymore...

The 10 people i know who got banned usually spend 20-100 Euros monthly on WG for past 1-2 years. So saying they only ban poor souls is a lie.

Good luck on the Battle Field , may your bullets fly straight and true.

Last time, I selected randomly 50 guys from the 2983 players getting banned, and I checked the tank they had in garage. 37 out of 50 of this players had premium tanks in their garage. So don't talk about business.

Absolutely false. They can not ban old accounts, because their detecting system detects only accounts that currently play. What they detect to be more specific is the presence of mods in the client. If you are not playing with your client full of forbidden mods I suspect they can not "scan" you.

Also, after discovering mods (allowed and forbidden) this August, I started to use one or two of them. The auto aim bot and the destruction mod. I removed both of them after the release of the Fair Play Policy.

So, these are at least two reasons why what you write is false.

WG can manually ban old accounts. As there is no transparency they dont even have to ban anyone because nobody can check what they did. We have to take their word for granted. Thats the main point of the guys above you.

Did those aimbots help you to improve the bad teams you are getting all the time?
