Let's be honest, it had to happen, right? Like the Type 61/74 Thread, I need to get this out of the way straight away.

The T-34-3 HD Remodel used in this mod belongs to Milkym4n, and can be downloaded on his website here. For more of his work, you can check his thread. As such, I take absolutely no credit whatsoever for this mod, as this is nothing more than a reskin.

Also like the Type 61/74 Thread, I want to get my list of recommended modmakers out first as well. So uhm.. yeah.#

Ok, now to the actual thread at hand. To be fair, most people probably already know what it's going to look like given the name. It's roughly based on the "Black Edition" T-34-3 From WoT Console, with some customisations;

-Gold trims (come on, who doesn't like Gold)

-no ugly decals like the "100 Years" or "Black Edition" on the barrel (though I probably could make them if requested, I personally think they make the skin much uglier)

-as it's one of Milky's remodels, you can guarantee it's 999% More sexier than the standard T-34-3. Sexiness guaranteed

-no 75% (or whatever) crew bonus :(

If there are any issues, please inform me, and here's your download;

Unlike the Type 61/74 Reskins, I don't plan on making a GUI Icon for it. However, you'll note that I have also included another optional text script to change it's name to the "T-34-3 Black" and modify the description slightly (of course, like with the Type 74, please be wary about just copying+pasting it whenever an update occurs). Also, if you don't like the Mark positions in the screenshots; don't worry; I've included the original script that came with Milkym4n's remodel, so you don't have to use the version with the Marks near the end of the gun if you don't want to.

Hello Desyatnik,

When I unzip your file, Windows says the files/folders names is too long.

Hello Desyatnik,

Huh. What you might want to do instead is when extracting the folders from the zip, instead of extracting "res_mods", instead extract just the "scripts" and "vehicles" folder from within straight to your respective patch number folder. I'd illustrate that with some images but I'm not at my PC Right now, but hopefully it's actually translatable into some sort of understandable language. :teethhappy:

EDIT: I think I know what you might actually be referring to now and have updated the mod to v1.1, with the "res_mods" for the main mod itself being zipped now as previously only the full mod itself was zipped (if that makes any sense). Assuming you were to simply extract the folder immediately inside the zip, once unzipped, the path would've been something like "T-34-3 HD Remodel - Black Edition -> res_mods -> 0.9.17.0.1 -> vehicles -> milkym4n -> Ch14_T-34_3 (or whatever it is listed as) -> normal -> lod0/1/2 -> *insert primitives/visuals_processed file of your choice" and well, yeah, that's too long for it so it'd **** up.

Now it should be better and the problem shouldn't be present (though the above solution should've worked anyway, I'd rather not have to revert to that because of an error on my part), but if it is, please inform me. This problem likely exists with the Type 61/74 As I think I did the same mistake there so I'll be probably updating them just to fix that later. :P

While I'm not sure about this, I believe this as well as most of my other mods can just be copied safely over to the new 0.9.17.0.3 (?) folder with the micropatch. That said, be warned about using the text edits as they might have been changed slightly with the micropatch. I'll be updating them just to be safe when I get the chance tomorrow to go through all my mods to make sure they all work.

EDIT: Updated to 0.9.17.0.3, if there are any issues please inform me as always.

Hey Desyatnik_Pansy,

I was wondering what program you used to create/edit the Optional Text Scripts. Was planning on doing some tinkering & attempting to rename a few tanks.

Thanks,

SST

Go to "res" and "text", and basically just copy that entire folder to res_mods. Now find the respective .po for what you want to edit, say Chinese vehicles in this case. You want to convert it to a .mo, which I just use an online converter or whatever for.

http://tools.konstruktors.com/

Then using a thing called Poedit, you can edit the .mo and find the respective tank/s you want to rename. Note that some of them just have one name like say "Ch14_T34_3" while others have two, "Ch14_T34_3" and "Ch14_T34_3_short" or something. Though they'll both have the same name in the description (which is what they'll show as in-game), "T-34-3", they both need to be changed. That's about really all I can say to help. :P
