Dear Tankers,

Wanted to draw your attention to a charity action that we have in Poland on a yearly basis. This year Wargaming is working together with the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (WOŚP in Polish) and they submitted an interesting bundle for an auction, including Type 59.

More about auction here:

http://aukcje.wosp.org.pl/world-of-tanks-type59-rudy-102-e25-i-gadzety-i4074029

(also in English)

More about the charity:

I know some of you really want the Type, so that may be a way to go...and give some money for a good cause ;)

Is this an official thing in collaboration with Wargaming?

Scroll down, there's an english translation of the package you can bid on. Looks pretty neat, as it's not only the Type 59 digital version but also a modelkit to go with it + some other premiums & goodies. Good for someone with money to spare who likes wot & fund charity at the same time.

Well that was well hidden, I was searching for an actual "English" button at the top of the website.

I would outbid him just to keep one out of his hands... even though I have one.

Last time I was aware this sort of thing happened, it went for £1,500+.

I'm not interested, I enjoy that I couldn't care less about the Type-59. But just for fun, is it definitely PC and not XBox? Is it definitely an EU code and not for China?

Re translate, just click your right mouse button for the option.

edit - lol, it's described as "1.Paper Type 59 premium tank" :-P

Spoiler

Translation ^

If I know how things like ebay work (and I do), that's going to get hot in the last minute. If you bid now and become top bidder, you'll just displace someone who'll likely come back and push the price up. The pro pattern is, put in the lowest next bid possible, which is unlikely to put you in the lead, but will register on your account so you can watch it without having to register to watch it, so are stalking it without others able to see there's watching interest, so are less mindful they need to compete. Then in last 15 or 10 secs wack a big bid on, hoping that will beat the last best price and not enough time for someone to reply. These auctions are dodgy as hell for that, proper auctions extend time when new best bid comes in for another round, not with these and that's where the opportunity is, amateurs bid as low as they think they can get away with, when it's beaten last moment with no time to reply, they realise they'd have been happy to pay more and have just wasted their time, if it's something they wanted and is rare, it's a problem.

The actual English part that is available on the page:

2. Rudy premium tank

3. E25 premium tank

4. 6 months of premium account

Important - In game stuff will be unlocked directly on winners World of Tanks account. Valid only for EU. Wargaming.net account on EU server required.

Gadgets will be delivered by courier to winners address from our Wargaming Store!

Gadgets:

5. World of Tanks Type 59 Tank Model Kit (1:35) – more info -> https://wargamingstore.eu/collections/world-of-tanks/products/world-of-tanks-type-59-tank-model-kit-1-35

6. World of Tanks Framed Artwork – more info -> https://wargamingstore.eu/collections/world-of-tanks/products/world-of-tanks-once-more-unto-the-breach-framed-artwork

7. World of Tanks Swedish Tank T-Shirt – more info -> https://wargamingstore.com/collections/world-of-tanks/products/world-of-tanks-swedish-tank-tee-t-shirt

8. World of Tanks Roll Out Mug – more info -> https://wargamingstore.eu/collections/world-of-tanks/products/world-of-tanks-roll-out-mug

9. World of Tanks patch – more info -> https://wargamingstore.eu/collections/world-of-tanks-accessories/products/world-of-tanks-logo-patch

And a few words about how to use the page: you need to register to be able to bid and it works similar to ebay. Higher bidder wins, that's it.

Both the auction page and the charity are very reliable. The charity has been there for 25 years now. The idea is that once a year they collect money (people collecting money to cans, auctions, etc) and they buy medical equippment for hospitals. Each year they announce what they will use money for, i.e. equippment saving life of newborn children, etc.

Happy to answer any questions you may have!

Edit: Ulf, as always, having issues with something that is universally accepted.

Also, as Ulf says, right-click the page & select the 'translate to english' option, it is a rather good translation imo.

My problem is that I cannot register at the Allegro web site which is necessary to take part in the auction. That page is only in Polish. Could not find the "English" button.
