Hello gentelmen,

As a newfound lover of mobile tanks...

I am starting to have fun in them more than heavy and slow tanks.. I know it is a phase it will pass.. but for now.. I am giving it a go..

I have my 2 line of LTs going.. so that is more than enough for me..

I am thinking for meds.. and started to go through into russian med line,

because, I dont have patience for the tanks before E50 in russian line.. ( I elited the panther)

I really would like Batchat (autoloader scums) but I cant go through that french LT grind I suppose..

So I decided for the russians..

I got an fully upgraded T34 last night.. tier V med..

put %100 crew in it with no skills..

Using top gun.. reload looks a little slow.. but I can manage.. (should I use the gun below top gun? for faster reload)

and that aim time.. horribble.. oh god.. I put GLD in it.. vents in it.. 3rd slot is still free..

I cant make it work.. It feels bad.. feels slow.. gun feels horribble.. armor feels bad.. feels blind..

I realized I played my last 150 battles mostly in my T67.. with female crew... 32 camo rating right now..

so after that.. I believe it is normal to feel this about the T34..

So.. My question is..

Tell me.. what to do.. what are the advantages and Disadvantages of this tank.

and more importantly.. which line should I go after that.. what do you suggest...

I need advice..

Thanks in advance..

Use the 57mm gun in T-34 with rammer abd watch enemy melt in front of your gun (2600dpm is quite much for T5).

don't forget full apcr loadout for maximum efficiency.

I run my t34 with binos/vents/gld and the 57mm. The long 76mm has such low dpm its useless (and horrible aimtime on top).

Reload is so fast that rammer is pretty pointless. Gld/vents will help you with the "slow" gun handling in comparison to the high firing rate.

calls autoloader users scum, continues to play 1k games in t67. well played op well played.....

But imo.

A43 < t34-85

A44 > t43

Obj 416 > t44

I also dislicked the t-34, so imagine having to play it again but with less gun depression in chinese line. hardest part was trying to keep myself from poking my eyes out with a fork.

But from my experience on a43 line i can tell that

A43 - play it like light tank that ate too much.

great mobility, good dpm( better than cromwell ), bad gun depression.

A44 - skipped becouse i hate derpie guns

Obj 416 - td in medium clothes. Good mobility, best gun of tier 8, Turret doesnt turn fully, bad depression.

Then if you want to shoot yourself after few games continue to t54.

Apparently the Obj140 is the best Russian med (and so med in general) for CW's. The T-34-85 & T-43 are great, imo the T44 is (or at least was) a dog, the T54 is great and unlocks 2 tanks, Obj140 as a priority I guess, T62A apparently has slightly better gun depression but not as strong.

I have T-34-85 as a keeper, probably one of best / most fun meds in game as it's so versatile.

I found the T34 (& the Chinese version) ridiculously OP with 57mm, with vents, GLD, rammer. It was an absolute beast at corner fighting, because it has fast acceleration, rolling back into cover for reload and forth firing, it's an extremely stable gun platform & you don't (or didn't) need to wait for reticle to fully close. And it will bounce plenty off it's angled front, interestingly it's armour does better close range, as distance gives an arc that allows shells to land on it's sloped armour more flat. Close and aggressive skirmishing or down flanks fast sniping.

Only thing to be aware of is that unless you have the free xp to upgrade the T-44 immediately you'll hate it, at stock the T-44 is one of the biggest piles of turd in the game; upgraded it's pretty good but stock, omfg.

Go to obj 140 though a43, just because you dont want to miss the chanse to play obj 416, this tank is unreal, much better then t44.

T-34-85 to obj 140. The obj 416 is fantastic, but it requires a lot of skill and even then it is not for everybody. The good old T34-85 to obj 140 route is a good introduction to mobile game play. You can always go wild after that. :-)

If you're going for a tier X Russian medium tank then your best bet is to go through the A-43. Simply for no other reason than being able to unlock the Object 430 as well as the T-62A and the Object 140. Better to keep your options open should you feel like trying a different tank or if you're not so keen on how the one you picked plays.

As for the T-34: mount it's 57mm, run the gun rammer, coated optics and ventilation to get the most out of it.

I would go A43 --> T62A

T62 has the better turret of the 3 without the weakspots of the 140 and 430. 62A also has superior traverse on both the turret and hull which it trades for slightly worse camo and a little top speed. On top of this the 62A also has the better gun stats. While the 430 has the best DPM...how often do you get to utilize it fully? You need standstill tomatoes for that, which doesn't happen that often. Personally I favor the 430, but that is down to silly stuff like a beautiful tank model etc.

Play the 416 like a sneaky TD early battle.

And good luck!
