Hi tankers.

My name is AlphaGamer and i am here to sugest a Ranking sistem to be aded into the game.

I am sugesting this because in the past few days i wasnt able to win any battle top or low tier with a damage or XP always in the top 5's of my team.

When you enter a game even if the tanks on each team are the same, the players aren't.

When you are faicing top tier "unicorns" in a platoon you know that you are going to lose the game.

I understand that platoons are fun and better to play in but they dominate the game when played by good players in top tier machines, or just the number of unicorns in one team that the other team hasn't. MM isn't only the tanks but also the players.

I think that the implementation of ranks would solve the problem because players would play against other players sust as skilled as ther are and they could improve over time, in the other side, it will be more chalenging to good players because they only play with other good players. Teams woun't be destroyed in 2 or 3 minutes and the game will became more fun and enjoyable for everyone pro or noobie.

Yes it does, the battles will became more fair and easier or harder depending on your ratings.

And for you good players it doesnt help because it will be more dificult to play against same skilled players.

But for the noobies it will become easier

And how do you suggest to use this 'rank' system?

 

Good vs good in one game, and poor vs poor in another? That's a bad idea.

 

Now, if we could have a MM balanced by skill (and tanks) it might be a good idea.

Although I'd expect waiting times to skyrocket if you want truly balanced games.

But a more-or-lesss balanced MM should be doable.

 

Dont expect WG to use WN8 though, as it is a third party value. They could use personal rating.

 

Dont expect the game to be easier for noobs when teams are balanced.

But it will be more interesting for all, wich is a better goal anyhow, imho.

Human nature isn't like that. Humans are naturally lazy, if you give them an easy ride for being bad they will stay bad.

I don't see why it's a good idea to give people easier games just because they are a terrible player.  That makes no sense to me whatsoever.  If you don't try then you should lose.  Maybe I'm just too old fashioned and un PC but I didn't grow up in a world where everyone feels entitled to win.

Don't we have a ranked/team battles game mode already?

Which has that "skillbased" matchmaking he suggests.

No, thats why we face noob teams against pro teams that end up destroying the enemy team in minutes

That would be nice. It'll probably never happen though; WG is pretty insistent that "players like a challenge" so they don't think there's anything wrong with giving one good player 14 tomatoes to try and carry to a victory none of them earned.

Any of you have stronger arguments than 'no'?

 

This evening, out of 36 games 26 were totally one-sided 15-3 or 3-15, within a few minutes.

Thats either boring or frustrating. Not fun,

 

Whats wrong with having teams balanced by skill?

You and many potatoes like you seem to think playing for fun and being good at the game/looking at stats and correctly interpreting them are mutually exclusive. That line of thought is quite idiotic if you take a second to think about it.
