I see the three recent favourites are back in the shop.

What I'm really curious about is their prices.

Liberte - £36.14

Skorpian G - £33.89

Patriot - £30.52

Can anyone explain these price differences ?  Why is the Liberte 20% more than the Patriot.  That £6 could almost get you the two Matildas and the Valentine (also on offer this w/e).

I wondered if it was due to the "profitability" stat that WG always keep secret from us, but according to VBAddicts, the Patriot is the most profitable tank in the game !!

I already have the Patriot.  I wont be getting the Liberte or the Skorpian as although I would like both, I cannot justify the expense.  I already have the FCM 50t and Dicker Max for crew training.

Wargaming economics.... in other words, no idea why

I also don't understand why they sell the Patriot for a lot cheaper than regular tanks like the Lowe and T34. Both being a lot less good than the patriot.

Possibly because it makes it look like good value so players are more inclined to buy it?

Or a discount, as you have to live with that paint job that hurts the eyes ;)

Dunno about the abovementioned tanks but my cheap E25 assasinated a Tiger 1, tiger P and an IS in less than 1 min.... ok 2 were on low health... but i was 1 vs 3....

Legendary....OP, what is less legendary is my WR in it...

what was also legendary was my hit for 888 damage on a skorpion G with my KV2...

Oh nom nom nom....

Op...? LOL

Liberte - sides made of paper, reload 10s for 300 alpha

Skorpiaon G - rape magnet, get spotted means die instantly, only fully aimed shots, no snap shots.

Patriot - is well balanced.

like @MrClark56 said E25 is OP because it still employs the old cammo mechanics for TDs, it retains its cammo rating even after firing.

i was 40m away from the tiger 1, sidehugging the Tiger P(ramming his tracks and hiding under his gun depression) and 50m from the IS.... im not sure it is the camo rating that is only OP... that ROF hits the nail too... my crew is not even that good..

patriot is "op" becouse its the best tier 8 heavy tank and by far the best with perf/euro value.

e25 doesnt keep 40+ camo when firing, it dips to 16 ( atleast according to game) you can try it in paris when you shoot in the most front bush

Great I think I will buy the Scorpion G!

Hm or not?

  • Mobility is somewhat a lie when comes to terrain resistance and traverse
  • Horrible dispersion values, even with slow turret traverse
  • Worthless armor gets easily penetrated by anything, HE shells included
  • Poor shell velocity and gun depression, -7 achievable only at the sides
  • Poor camouflage values and view range

You can also pick up a Matila IV or Valentine II for almost 3 euro, great tanks!

https://eu.wargaming.../specials/1141/

Or a 30 days premium bundle with the Matilda IV for free...

Liberte actually can go as low as 8.15s reload.

skorpion is a great tank in the right hands

It takes awareness, little bit of brain and enogh patience to make it work.

Low tier premiums arent worth it really, but if you need premium then that 30 days bundle sounds quite allrite

Patriot > Skorpion G > Liberte.

Patriot has basically it all: Firepower, armor and speed. The holy trinity of OPness, which also tanks like IS-3 have. This is the best tier 8 premium tank, if you are any good at this game.

Skorpion G has firepower and speed. Good tank, with also carry potential if you are good wth paper tanks.

LIberte has frontal armor, and pretty much nothing else. This would be bad in current meta, but Liberte has a reeeaaally good frontal armor, that really workd against tier 8s and below.

Liberte is only better than Patriot in certain situations, like when fighting city maps against low tier tanks and there is no arty. Otherwise it's a slow heavy tank with mediocre gun handling and DPM.

To Patriot or not to Patriot, that is the question.

i don't get a lot of time to play these days so grinding new trees has literally ground to a halt (excuse the pun). When I do play it's usually a few games in my fun tanks (Type 59, Chaffee, T67 etc) then log off. The question is this; is the Patriot fun to play? If it is then I might have a punt.

Patriot's great fun to play. Easily the best premium HT in the game right now.

3 games in it and no good results.

Clearly does not play to my strengths. Can't understand what all the fuss is about, it's good but not great.

i think the Type59 will remain my mainstay fun tank.

What about defender? I think defender is scary despite of not good DPM. What do you think between defender vs patriot?
