Since CW scene is pretty rip, not much to discuss about gameplay wise except maybe ESL gold leagues. ESL forum section is pretty dead, so I thought more people that appreciate and follow WGL might discuss it here.

So basically, for starters, few questions

1. What do you think each team need to change to perform better?

2. Will Ding dominate EU cluster again in offlines?

3. Can Oops qualify for rumble?

4. Which team has highest chances of upsetting Ding?

5. Can EU teams be more competitive this season against RU teams?

6. Opinion on NA/APAC teams improvement this season, if any?

You don't have to answer all of these, answer on any of these is fine, and also more questions are more than welcome.

Thanks for input.

Edit:

I plan on bringing you interviews with teams with less official questions, I'll post them here as I prepare those.

Also planning on epic battles tactical recaps by acknowledged tacticians, but this is very work in progress.

Stay tuned I guess.

In general i like to watch wgl but i dont like some parts of it.

1) Banning ru teams and let the players from these teams play in other teams even broadcasting russian ts. I dont have words for this stupid thing.

2) I dont like to see the climbingstuff

3) Most of the Camos look like gpu glitches

No, but there is a way to send you back to OMNI :)

1. What do you think each team need to change to perform better?

Stable 7 players.
Cool communications.

Adapt and move quicker rather than deciding during battle know what they want to do and go for it.

2. Will Ding dominate EU cluster again in offlines?

Giving them 70% right now

3. Can Oops qualify for rumble?

Rumble? What? You mean GF right? Maybe if they start performing like they should.

4. Which team has highest chances of upsetting Ding?

Kazna, but that wouldn't be a super upset because they are close. An upset would be like GoHard or Utopia beating them at LAN

5. Can EU teams be more competitive this season against RU teams?

No, Simply to much talent/training time avaible on RU cluster

6. Opinion on NA/APAC teams improvement this season, if any?

Not sure. Apex might be able to do something? I mean they run similar strats to EU/RU but will have to see how they do when they have to play those teams which understand the strategies also.

Apac no clue

I like the WG league. And I think I am not the only one because the twitch numbers have increased quite hard imo.

I also think WG did a good job in the 3 announcers. 2 of them really can help you understand their tactics and have alot of insight. And then one fluffy teddybear with a great accent  to complete the team.

What I do not like is the former Russian server players in European teams, but hey it is what it is.

And I am still waiting to see and hear Shishx in Ding.

Hope Kazna can beat Ding this season.

That might have something to do with those stupid quests and all those highly interested people that spam "poll? pool? 4/5 40/65" all the time. I liked the chat more when it was ESL players circlejerk.  We get casters that are involved in the game and knowledgable and then we get a marketing ploy like that to flood the stream with people that can't even read and do not understand that they have a chance to win a tank instead of getting one guaranteed.

1. Was thinking about team per team suggestions but I guess all of them could use some of the things you mentioned.

3. I call it rumble whenever they mix clusters in offlines. ))

4. Kazna imo needs to drop Veco for Piotr permanently and switch Hybaa to t8 and Yzne/Valaaaaaa on t10, I'm guessing either of them would do more than 800 avg dmg per game. Despite the overall experience Kazna players have, their tactics need some serious tweaking, especially Prokh.

5. Influx of RU players into EU teams might bring it a bit closer. I'm guessing Ding could take on anyone barring Na'Vi/HR pretty ok.

6. Apex roster has arguably some of the nastiest individual players out there, if they can prepare for EU/RU meta adequatelly, they might bring something new to the table.

Team Efficiency has some of the Aussie best playurs combined with players from RU cluster, might be fun to see them in offlines considering they beat EL gaming both times this season.

Going by raw stats, in those reward polls, like 500-800 players are in raffle for it. So Im guessing rest 2-3k are there to actually watch the esl.

RU numbers are going absurd, today Na'Vi vs HR was like 14k people at one moment, thats more than CS:GO toppish tier events.

Well Insane does seem to shine with a bit of too much negative energy lately, Milosz and TDZ not up to task?

Wouldn't bet on it. But there is a chance. Slightly off day for Ding and zafar on fire might just be enough.

Well, if you compare it to Kazna situation, both Hybaa and Veco are rusty af as players, still somehow they are top 3. Hybaaa's tictacs get read often, but i guess sheer experience of the carry players does the job.

hybaa having experience is still a great thing for kazna as he can call correct shots in bad situations
