Dear staff, can you give us the new tech tree of the light Tiers X coming , i am sure all players want to start gathering XP from now to be ready to purchase them when they come :medal:

Does this apply to literally all the light tanks WG? Tech tree and premium?

New matchmaker sound great and as a long waited and welcome change... BUT...

 

There is one thing that I am worried with that system... and that is couple of personal missions that will suffer greatly from this outcome! 

I'm talking about those (one of hardest, by the way) personal missions where your job is to destroy two +2 tiers higher heavy tanks with your HT, or +2 heavies with arty, or +2 TD's with your medium... Even now it is hard enough to accomplish that, not only because you are way down in a food chain in, for instance, your what ever tier 8 heavy against maybe two Maus tanks...   but mostly because opportunity to finish those mission goals comes to rarely, in my experience maybe once in every 20-30 battles, because as soon as turn on that mission I almost never get -2 mm anymore?! And when you do get it, those tiers 10 against your tier 8 are usually of some other classes then those you need to destroy in order to complete your mission...:/

So it is really hard and it it sucks to wait for right circumstances way too long!

 

My point here is that this matchmaker will MAKE THAT SITUATION EVEN WORSE !!!

 

Because now when I play my tier 8 heavy tank, matchmaker will give me only 3 top tier 10 tanks at most, right? And what are the chances that all those three top tier tanks be heavies? Slim to none, I'm afraid... And on top of that, if that do happens once in a million times, you still have to have a perfect game in order to fulfill your mission goals and win... and who knows what else... which DO NOT depend only of you and your game-play...:/ 

 

Do you see where I am getting with this???

New matchmaker is great, no question about it!

But PLEASE do your homework completely and at the same time RE-WORK ALL THOSE PERSONAL MISSIONS that could (and will be) suffer from this change of matchmaker...

Indeed. I would really like to know how much XP is needed to get from the existing tier 8's that will be transferred to Tier 9 to get the Tier 10's? 

 

I already made the mistake by grinding the Tiger P instead of the VK4502B.. Don't want to do the same thing with the AMX 13 90... already grinded 400K XP with that one... pffft... I do hope that  do not need to do another 200K..

Thank you WG ! Finally something for us who like competitive gameplay but don't want to join a clan :medal: 

 

And what comes to the new mm? Awesome! I may actually start grinding some new lines again since you can have a big impact in every single battle.

It have something about the lanes.....even AMX 13 90 will be turned tier IX before going on the last one xD

If nothing much changes, you will need iro 200k XP to go from T9 to T10 light

I think x3 SPG's per team still will be too much. It should be limited to maximum of x2 per side.

 

Anyway, these changes looks promising...

Remove full arty platoons..  dont give them stun if u dont.

 

 

and that blast radius..

I like the ideas,  however the arty one is missing a key part IMHO.

You should implement not having the ability to have 2 or 3 spgs in a platoon.

Why?

Well as seen in a game a coordinated spg platoons can really ruin the game, made even worse by mixing in the toxic nature of xvm in battle aswell.

Additions to the changes, which are a great move forward IMHO, should be

1- disable the ability to show stats in battle. In garage fine, some people want to be able to see this detail, but in battle it goes both ways in a negative fashion I feel.

2- Disable multiple arty platoons, for the reason I mentioned before.

The single tier platoon is a worry aswell,  surely we are at a development stage were we can allow +/- 1 tier toons, and the mm go off the lowest tier being thrown middle layer in mm? Or something to that effect. I only say this as some family's play this game together and want to help family members grind up.

Well basicaly seeing the cliff level.Yeah yeah shiny graphics but the biggest changes is that you cloesd offt he hill with the lighthouse on top with unclimbable walls and buildings!Great we need more corridors!Also the hills map.Is it a new map or it just and updated version of mines?If the later the only change is that there also you closed off the central hill with buildings on top.So even more corridors.

So first WG gives us phisics and the ability to climb almost anything and use the terrain to our advantage and now they close off parts of the maps so we can't climb there anymore.Then why let us climb hills in the first place?

MM will be still bad, IF those 3 Top tiers will be 3 heavies against 2 meds + 1 TD....

For example:

City map

T10 (3x heavy) + T9 (2x arty / 3x TD) + T8 (2x medium / 4x TD / 1x light)

vs

T10 (2x medium / 1x arty) + T9 (1x arty / 2x medium / 2x heavy) + T8 (6x TD / 1x light)

Climbing is an oversight.

Good it get's removed...

 

 

(I'm more concerned about the details on these new maps going to be unfriendly for LT's)

​Love the new Layout!!!  Please put the T-26E5 American Olive Drab on Sale in the Premium Shop along side the Patriot.  The US Olive Drab has a Track Plate on the Turret.  That looks neat and will deflect Head Shots.    Jumbo-Pershing T26E5, Great Tank.  2 Black Versions would be Great too!!!!!:)
