Wow he would prefer the best tank in the game the IS3. Defender confirmed weak.

Lol yes. :teethhappy:

I just found it quite compelling viewing last night. Firstly I've never seen a unicum play on a stream before and secondly I've not seen one have a such a bad time of it either.

Speed is extremely important to carry games and you know the LFP of the Lowe is crap. But hey I guess one good game without arty suddenly makes the Lowe excellent right?

Also on what map was that? You conveniently do not show this. If that was a Malinovka game I will suck your [edited]. My guess is it was a heavily urban based map seeing as two superheavies top the list.

I can also use your own argument against you; the global average winrate of the Lowe shows that it is pretty damn mediocre.

If it's weaker than its tech tree equivalent, just like the old school premiums, then WG actually did a good job don't you think?

I didn't watch the stream last night but it seems like he somewhat shares my opinion that the tank is a roflstomper when top tier but lacks the mobility/accuracy (I don't care much about DPM) to do well in higher tier games. Brawling at very close range with higher tiered heavies just doesn't work (unless you're a unicum maybe) because a) you can't pen them reliably from the front and b) they wreck you hardcore (an E-75 will pen your cupolas every shot for example).

And you really need to be at close range and put yourself in harm's way, otherwise you can forget about penning them at all. Some heavies, like the IS-3, can pick the "medium flank" of a map and bully meds there while the Defender is not flexible enough to do this.

Now I'm really done with this pointless timesink of a thread, I'm not sure why it hasn't been locked yet tbh.

It's OP. QB said so but he said he prefers the IS3 in top tier battles. That's one persons opinion based on his experience and how he likes to play. that's his view where as simple numbers simply reveal that it's OP

That everyone except Troglodyte believes Defender is OP and the best T8 tank against all enemies it can meet with quite a margin.

Probably because the mods find your posts as amusing as I do. Hell, maybe they're even going to use some of ideas to show that regardless of what the stats say it's really not OP.

You misspelled my nickname, your statement about what my opinion is provably incorrect and whether or not it's the best T8 tank against higher tiers is largely subjective. For a "fellow clanmate" I think you're being very unfriendly and nonconstructive in a discussion about pixel tanks. I didn't even notice this before but looking back at your posts you've quite literally done nothing but roast me personally, you haven't added anything to this thread whatsoever.

This is me politely telling you to [edited]off. You are continuously behaving in a toxic manner that has no place on this forum.

The Thread has a bit of a hostile vibe to it. Guys, don't get upset at each other. You still wan't me to close the Thread as you asked me? I'm back at the Office.

If you read on a daily basis a couple thousand posts for a living the idea of spending time reading more posts for fun...well, is not always appealing (still happens).

Well alright, just (try) to be nice with each other.

I wouldn't worry as it's getting close to the talking about sprout recipes stage.

Brussel sprouts or bean sprouts?

If you need to ask that then you certainly have no place in the discussion.

Just like your unproven claims.

I guess....

Brussel "Defender" Sprouts are clearly OP compared to the more regular bean sprouts. Brussel sprouts just wipe all the same and lower tier vegetables from the plate. However, some claim they cannot compete quite so well against higher tier vegetables, like the cauliflower. In general though the consensus is that the Brussel sprout is OP and can even beat tier 10 vegetables like the cauliflower.

Again, uncalled for and just flat out toxic.

@mods it's a bad idea to keep this thread open. This is not going to die a natural death and the fact that the OP "changed his mind" about closing it demonstrates his intentions.

I...sort of agree after scanning the last couple of pages. I think we're walking in circles and since we already reached Sprout discussion time lets put it to rest for now.

Vegetable discussions are of course as always welcomed and encouraged...in the Off Topic section, please.
