If you keep your eyes peeled at this year’s Le Mans, you’ll see a tank flying around the track. Why? Because Wargaming has teamed up with AT Racing to showcase World of Tanks’ artwork across the Ligier LMP3. Due to the initiative driven by the racing team, Wargaming has become the first ever gaming company to brand a Le Mans racing vehicle.

Speed, fast reactions, teamwork, and coherent actions are all things you can find in both World of Tanks and endurance racing,” said Maxim Chuvalov, Product Marketing Manager, World of Tanks. “We wish the team good luck, and can’t wait to see them on the track.”

Ah, the groundwork for the next marathon mission is being laid. I'm supposed to keep quiet as there's no date yet and WG wants to create maximum hype as things are being finalised, but you'll think it's a joke anyway so no harm done:

Next marathon mission will see a very special reward: Type 59! Ever since its removal people have asked about a chance to acquire this legendary vehicle, and that chance is finally here! Inspired by WG's partnership with AT racing, this marathon will be shorter than you're used to, but will require a lot of endurance. You will play for 24 hours straight, and that does mean play; if there's a pause of more than five minutes between returning to the garage and entering the next battle, progress will be reset. WG has listened to player complaints about botting, and therefore players need to be in their team's top 10 by XP earned for each battle, or progress will be reset. Bonuses for daily double, personal reserves, premium account, etc do not count. Tokens will of course be available: each token bought will shave one hour off the total number of hours of play required, and will cost €25.

In order to facilitate maximum player comfort during this event, WG has also teamed up with Pampers. If you order a pack of unisex diapers with the promo code "$hi710rdftw" and add your WoT account name in the details, 250 gold will be credited to your account!

Roll out!

I'd have spent more if I'd known it was going to a good cause.
