Its too late to move it to tier 6 but putting the engine back in to give it the original specific power could and should be done.

i think the problem is the 90mm gun. if you give it nuts mobility you need to take away / nerf that 90mm I think. As it is now it demands a passive play style.

In all honesty I believe that traditional scouting is pretty dead in the game now. Better to gain a certain position on the maps at certain times in the game and it doesn't matter what tank is used to get that vision.

For example on Malinovkha first priority is the hill. After that it is critical to get vision on the E9 / B4 areas however you can. This can be through sheer numbers pushing from the hill or tanks on the low ground or mid ridge. The only benefit to early scouting is that it may allow early damage to tanks climbing the hill but it may actually make taking the hill harder as you get there too late.

if anything the ELC could easily be reclassified as a TD. For me it plays that way now.

Put a girl crew in it......40% camo on the move. Ridiculous. Pretty fun to play the 75mm with 360 turret, had some great games today

Or you could deal with reality and ditch the 90mm as it's very situational / crippling. 75mm with 10 APCR is godmode, that 360 turret is just insane

Quite possibly. After my good day it was bound to bite and it did yesterday. That 90mm seriously trolled me yesterday. When you get two 0 damage crits off arty who is side onto you with premium ammo (I know I didn't need it) plus a rather odd thing that every T67 seemed to grow insane armour over night the you know its not your day. Even enemy ELC's became very tough to penetrate.

tried the 75mm again but again it was one of those days. Couldn't hit a barn door at 5 paces.

Put vertical stabs on. Helps a lot with the 75mm as it has a full turret

Stabs, optics and rammer here. Going to be testing it out for myself tomorrow. :D

Edit: forgot I went for rammer instead of vents, oops.

yep done that. Still not reliable enough to be honest. The AMX now gets bullied by everything it meets in close combat. Not sure which gun I prefer to be honest.

Could be that I'm expecting to play and damage as it used to but now in 9:18 that needs to come down a little.

Still good , i would say best passive scout in game, but no so funny... Mobility is bad, t67 is faster. Even cromwell that was the most fearsome opponent of elc, is now faster than you, so you have to fear him more....

But still you got that crazy camo, so you can rape those tier 3,4....

I prefer 90mm gun, cause old days, and  i think it is better also now...

Sure it aims for few seconds, but you get in bush, spot , and have all time of the world to aim, cause you dont get spotted.

Yea it has bad DPM, but you dont need it, you need alpha... You will not engage anyone in close combat, if someone fires at you, you run.... especialy now with mobility nerf... early you could fight with some lights if you get lucky....

But still love it <3

I have not been able to decipher the new ELC AMX. At the moment I have vents, enhanced suspension, and coated optics with the 75mm gun. Having that rate of fire is fun, but the package feels odd, and, as someone else said, in that form I do believe there are better options. So I guess I will go back to the 90mm gun, try to keep passive with binoculars, and always to try to relocate after firing.

Still, the gun nerf I can handle, the loss of speed is far more painful. And that is more difficult to circumvent. You will not be the first one on scene anymore. That is a killer for this tank.

Happy this got nerfed because I think many good players stopped playing it in favour of other tanks like Type 64 and T67. So I was finally able to get MoE. No chance before! I was around 52-53% for a long time. Never thought I could get a MoE so thank you.
