Just retrained my crew from 1390 as I am wanting to go med line...cheers for that WG lol, so came here looking for info too. Played one battle so far, was good (I was top tier), tank felt ok. Mobility alright, gun handling seemed good but low pen and clip potential will be trouble in tier 9/10 battles for sure. Can get B-C AP/AMX30 in another 10k xp if I want and turns out to actually be useless.

Only played a few battles, and lacking suspension/tracks and engine, but so far it seems rather good. DPM is a bit on the low side (lower than T71), but racks up damage rather quick. Gun works well for unloading at close to medium distance, surprisingly reliable. 4*170=680 clip size beats missing 4/6 shots in the old 13 90 for a 45s reload.

I have been playing it too, top gun stock engine and tracks. Its a great deal of fun to unload 4 shells in the side of a löwe but yes penetration and damage per shot is lackluster. On the flipside the reloadtime is short, I think the 1390 would be  much more powerful due to the improved penetration and damage while the reloadtime is still considerably short. Although softstats are slightly worse. The bat 12t is fun for patient players who seize opportunity, but between this and my wz132 seems a gap of atleast 1 tier. So in my experience, its a bad tank compared to its competition but can greatly reward you if you are patient and play to its strenght. (Treat it like a butterfly with a sting)

I've always liked those little french buggers, and this thing.. Absolutely amazing. I've done 9 battles so far in it, 3 times Aced, 4 times 1st class. The ammo count is amazing and i love the fact that the reload is only 20 seconds. I transfered my ladies from the 13 90 with credits with gals sitting on 3.5 skills and 95% base. MoE is at 40% and i think i'm gonna go for another 3 stripes. Also have 3 MoE on the AMX 12t and was just a tad short of 100%.. flunked it at 99.83%.

But the Bat-Chat is awesome, absolutely love it.

3 marked it while i was grinding the BC25t AP. Great little tank, my first 3 marked tank as well. I love the camo and mobility, gun is good as well with the damage rolls reaching 200 sometimes :)

Fun little tank, but I found two issues with it:

- You are overmatched by everything, and HE will totally destroy you

- Everyone can and WILL ram kill you. Specially other lights.

Other than that, it is incredible, and I'm having a lot of fun with it.

Do you need to research the tracks in order to mount all the equipment on this one?

This seems like free exp sink to me, but interested in AMX30(b) after the upcoming vehicle changes...

No need for tracks at all, if you don't mind the traverse. I researched them last and they do make a difference so imo it's worth it, because the bc12t grind will be quite long. :)

They do provide a roughly 10% to chassis dispersion, so getting them is defo a must, but getting them last is not a bad thing to do.

Not a free exp sink. If I didn't use exp reserves i'd probably go for 3 mark. Very good tank. If I didn't screw up my stats by going for LT missions I'd probably still 3 mark it as I hit 3st mark at sub 30 battles.

It does seem to be rather nice tonk, doesn't it. Maybe not as broken as T71 on introduction, but still has a similar vibe. Will get it soon on live and gold the camo probably.

I didn't want to keep it so I kept rebuying camo for credits. Due to vr you have to run food but it's a very nice active scout.

Just a few games with this and I'm really up and down with it. Have a really decent game or a complete shocker. Camo rating seems really nice but care is still needed as I got nailed a couple of times by blind fire. Worth noting I dont have the top engine and tracks yet either but it still moves ok in that typical French way. Great forwards, shocking round corners.

Cross fingers I'll get more consistent with it. Gonna be playing it for a while it seems. Thanks for the grind WG

Played a game in mine finally, not a bad little thing. Since it is like 650k grind to elite it I will defo gold camo it, but it does seem to be way more fun then tier 6 and 7.

It may be me but the mix of camo and mobility really allows you to have some fun. While it wont be super consistent it is really good at playing vision at a tier where so many tanks are blind

I really enjoyed the AMX 13 75. Had a 60% WR in it so perhaps I was a bit lucky in it. It was also my highest WN8 tank as well.

12T was different. I had 2 marked it and was going great guns but then the changes to light tanks happened and I struggled to adapt to it.

Next job for me is sorting out my potato PC which just seems to be struggling these days. New graphics card and wireless adaptor needed. Might look at some extra cooling as well well I'm at it.

Well, I failed with crew build for 12t/13 75, and played most of the games pre-change of light MMs, and those two were terrible when faced with anything pretty much.

Now can't compare directly with BC12t since the new MM makes lights just so much more fun, but the tank itself is definitely better then painted by most streamers, although I think that it might have problems going 1v1 against other tier 8 LTs.

I agree that pre the light tank change the AMX 13 75 wasn't great at all. Gone completely the other way now in my book.

I got on with the 12T somehow, mainly because most others struggled in it I think. That made the average damage in it really low. However reducing the magazine size killed it for me. I really struggled with it when they did that.

The things that really bugs me with the Batchat 12t is the length of the grind. Utterly ridiculous. Once upgraded yu only needed 107k XP (from memory) on the 13 75 to release the Batchat 12T. with that one you're way over 650XP to release the three that come off it.

Overall I think the French Light tank line is pretty screwed up when it comes to XP grinding and crew training. The AMX ELC only has 2 crew and basically denies you the crew training opportunity. All of sudden you need to bring on and train a new crew member at tier 6. Say you get BiA on your crew in the ELC, all of sudden you lose that thanks to the extra crew member.

oh well we carry on.
