Pretty sure it's faster now? Which would be an improvement because previously it was terribly sluggish.

It wouldn't be, since it wasn't your typical light tank. It was more of TD/light combo, kinda like ELC was. Now it really has nothing going for it since the autogun is gone...

It really wasn't... it was more like a worse T71 if you used the autoloader..

Also, ELC is/was blazingly fast.

Nope. If you tried to play it like american lights no wonder you didn't like it. It had it's own niche. Find distracted tanks and rip them apart, like a turreted TD d1cking around. You wouldn't go in, guns blazing like a bulldog could since that was a recipe for disaster.

Don't make assumptions because I did actually like it and I didn't play like that, because it wasn't good at it. Way too sluggist. And finding distracted tanks and nibbling at their HP is the same as a T71 or AMX 13 75 would, nothing 'TD-like' about standard autoloader tactics. The problem was that SPIC had nothing going for it except gun depression and a comparatively high burst per second, but was let down by it's mobility, low total clip damage (even worse than AMX 13 75, which was considered rather weak) and poor gun stats.

SPIC was generally considered to be a poor tank. Maybe it was more unique, but unique doesn't translate to good.

Yeah because you couldn't just yolo in like a tard and get away with it, like you could with a bulldog. 1500 clip potential? No problem comrade, can yolo any same tier heavy because balance.

No, because it was sluggish and had terrible viewrange. A lot of good players would actually mount the single-shot gun, which would offer better soft stats like accuracy and aimtime. The SPIC was an underperforming LT, there's no debating that. Pre-change stats show that it was barely breaking even in terms of WR even for better players.

Also, no good player would yolo with a Bulldog, only bad ones did because the Bulldogs generally die when they do that. It's a big, easily spotted target and it needed almost 20 seconds to unload that clip. That was in fact another tank where some of the better players would opt to mount the single shot gun because, again, better stats and it also had 2 degrees more depression.

It was considered poor because it took everything terrible about AMX 13 (gun handling, agility) and added rather terrible autoloader on top of that with low burst. And playing it as a TD/light combo with normal tier 8 MM old scouts had made me chuckle.
