I played Gothic 2 and i had a great experience ,sadly gothic 3 ended as a fail in some hand ,I managed to instal community patches and fix it a lot but still it was too much hardware hungry for my weak PC ,good thing am buyin new one tomorow with GTX560 1GB  (non TI) so am gonna beat some of those games again just to see it in max details,,Also i will edit my first post with StarCraft 2 just when i instal it on my new machine.

I'm not sure if I can sort them in order but I will try.

1.  Fallout 2 (haven't played Fallout 1 yet)
2.  Fallout New Vegas (3 is good but not as good, NV is so much more complex and varied than 3)
3.  Need for Speed Porsche Unleashed (best NFS ever)
4.  C&C Red alert 2 (best C&C for me...with C&C3 TW and Generals close behind)
5.  F.E.A.R. (absolutely awesome game...good expansions. 2 was also good. Haven't played 3 but from what I saw it must suck)
6.  Mafia 1 (2 sucks, story is screwed up and the game doesn't drag you in like the original)
7.  Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl, other stalkers, too (the atmosphere was best the first time in SoC, but the newer games brought in very nice features)
8.  Call of Duty 1 and Call of Duty 4: MW (COD1 blew the mind of folks and COD4 did it again...and multiplayer is superb in both)
9.  Company of Heroes (though multiplayer here is much better than singleplayer)
10. Hard choice. Hard to remember all games I have played. Many things come to mind..Far Cry, Red Faction (1), Ghost Recon, Shift 2, Assassins Creed, C&C Generals, Metro 2033,...named a few I think deserve to be named.

Old games rule. I'm a bit surprised how many people listed Fallout 1 & 2 :)

From the top of my head:

1: Company of Heroes + Extras
2: Silent Hunter 3 + mods
3: Codename Panzers - Phase Two
4: Faces of War / Men Of War
5: Civilization 4
6: Sim City 2000 (anyone know if Cities XL is any good?)
7: Half-Life 2
8: Call of Duty 2 (before they went all modern on our arses)
9: TES: Oblivion
10: Mass Effect

Probably forgot something awsome though, hmm

And i totaly agree with them ,i played Fallout:Tactics as i said above and to me its the best Tactical - RPG - Squad based - Strategy IMHO. I remembar it was a very hard game but i played it on max difficulty. You could lead max 6 soldiers but i liked to lead my small commando team like SAS team (4 specialists deep behind enamy lines - Riffleman(Medic),Sniper(Grenadier),Heavy weapon(and melee weapons),and another riffleman(technician)) and it was awsome how game wanted me to think like a real team leader in missions.

Hey anyone remmembar Commandos series?

Hmm tuff one... Having played games all the way back from the C64 days...

1.: Dungeon Keeper 1
2.: Death Rally
3.: Settlers 1 (Both on Amiga and PC)
4.: UFO Enemy unkown + Terror from the deep
5.: Strike Fleet (C64)
6.: Apocalypse (Amiga)
7.: Mass Effect 1+2
8.: Command & Conquer + The Covert Operations (Yay for Ant missions!)
9.: Age of Empires series.
10.: Duke Nukem 3D (The old one. Hail to the king baby!)

I could go on with my favorit games. Have played too many to remember over the past 25 years.

I have played Fallout Tactics, too...I liked it a lot. I played it turn-based so it was not super tactical but yes it is a great game when you want to play a game like that.
Other Fallout games are completely different, though.
