If there's something window lickers are good at, it's playing arty. I must say i'm impressed. 47% Overall and 53% in Hummel. I doubt i'd pull off 50%+ in any arty.

Just out of curiosity, why are numbers so important?

I have 3 arties with than 100 games, Hummel (157), GW Panther(181) & GW Tiger P (121). On the Hummel and GW Tiger P I have a 49% W/r but on the GW Panther it's 64%.

I'm not sure what any of that means, I found them all to be equally terrible to play.

I somehow get the hate arty players are getting, but IMO food users are far worse. but of course, it's less visible.

Dear antoine130,

The language you use is beneath contempt, however a quick check reveals how your own arty skills far exceed your current WR.

@OP maybe you should git gud then

I've played 620 games in the G.W Panther and have  a 55% W/R with 3 Gun Marks.

It's not too hard to get a decent W/R in arty, you just have to stick with it :)

wow, 53%? He has a sub 50% WR on 90% of his SPG's, with a lower average damage then most tanks he has. But he fond one that works for him. But then again he has a 57% WR in his Strv 74 with 200 games played to. Indicating a broken clock is right twice a day. Or gets really lucky and gets carried now and then.

Know what else is impressive? The fact that some players believe it takes no skill to hit weakspots from 720m+ when your dispersion is over .4, your shell takes longer to reach the target and the aim time is glacial.

But then again, all tanks have a huge engine bay like the IS-3 right? I mean, the Empire State Building is smaller than that. Oh, and even with AP/APCR and HEAT shells on arty, that was a breeze.

*sigh* These arty threads...

Implying those are the only scenarios artilery can shoot at targets.

Then git gud with your aim scrub

But seriously, there are far more scenarios than that in which arty can shoot at targets, it's just the VAST majority of arty players haven't got the expertise (or desire) to make the most of situations that don't involve slow/stationary targets.

Because many players think big numbers make them look cool.

Big numbers are a raw, unpolished skill indicator
