Yes, that tier 6 TD, not the other GC.

But I cannot force myself to play it.

I just look at it occasionally in the

garage and then choose another tank.

Doctor, what should I do?

You can help those needing their British Tech Tree Medal.

Took me TWO years before I even saw one to be able to destroy it.

It's not that bad if you already have the top gun unlocked from the At15 of are willing/able to free exp it. Playstyle is akin to the German Waffentrager line, esp Stuer Emil, and Dicker Max, in that it's slow, has no armor and no camo but it has a great gun and excellent gun depression. Far I would say, as many others would claim, the worst tank in the game.

I'm gonna buy one too next week. I've tried going for the Deathstar, but playing through the AT 8, even fully upgraded....no. stop it right there. Going to AT 7 through GC.

GC is a crap tank, but hey, 214 pen is better than 171, 250 alpha is better than 150, 25kmh top speed is better than 20kmh......who cares about the armor? As if anyone shoots the 200mm parts on the AT 8, that thing along with Challenger shouldn't be played by anyone.

The problem with this is, you DON'T unlock ANY guns for At7 via the CGC, so you will have to play it using the At2's 6 pounder or free exp the 77mm and 17 pounder. The 32 pounder you get as the top gun on the CGC can be used on the AT15 & Tortoise, but in both cases the 20 pounder is a far better gun choice to use.

Unlocking the Charioteer fixes that - AND safes you the XP for the A-barrel. If you go another step and unlock the Conway you get the Tortoise's topgun for free too. The british tech tree allows you to safe a LOT of grinding by getting especially TD modules for free (if you play first Arty, then HT lines you get a ton of free engines too)

Considering your future CC status, you need to keep and review it.

Keep it in your garage until WG finally buff it and make it totally OP.

Spoiler

Joking aside, the special this weekend is "x2 XP for the battle" in TDs so if you really are going to play this thing, this weekend is the time to grind it, if you can.  https://worldoftanks.eu/en/news/special-offers/special-td-spotlight-june2017/

Still swithering about buying GC, think I have only ever seen a couple in 20k+ battles. Must admit I kinda like odd tanks and they don't come odder than this one:)

what no option to "try and 3 mark it"?

surely the only thing to do in it. Must be really easy i suspect if you understand the basics of the game

That and it kinda looks like a Tetris block.

Perhaps some use as a kitchen table, i dunno.

I have the 17 pounder unlocked from Challenger, and i will have the 20 pounder from Charioteer. I will buy AT7 after i Charioteer, because i will not grind past Charioteer so i want to finish the line

Play it.
Short version:
Cons:
No armor, speed, viewrange and mediocre traverse speed
Pro: The gun is great at the tier and you will need gold only for the front of t8 armorbeasties.

You will depend on your team spotting for you and once you commit to anything there is no turning back usually.
This tanks scarcity does also make it a yolo target which you can turn into a profit more often than not.
Don't expect any carrying potential from the churchill game carrier though. It is a long range gunner of doom and it can hold its own sometimes to greedy enemies, but overall it is not out of the current meta.

Still a good tank if you want a challenge.

(one of my favourite and most played tanks)

Tbh.. it's far from the worst TD around, not even close. One of the worst stock grinds by far if you don't have the 32 pdr from the AT-15... Even worse then St.Emil. But once you get that top gun, it's actually an above decent support TD IMO. With a good enough pen for anything almost. I say almost. As in the recent tier 8 HT premiums might give it issues. But nothing pressing 2 wont fix with 246 gold pen. That is actually rather good for a tier 6.

I am tempted. I remember reading somewhere that 3-marking the Churchill GC is a sign of maturity and readiness for CC status.
