What is the game's logic of distribution of the tanks between the two groups?

No, I mean deployment location split.

You mean the spawn locations? I always wondered about that as well...

I think he means when teams split equally across both flanks, me personally I'd go the one where my tank was best suited for fighting and one that had some TD support behind it.

I want to understand how the game decides on the composition of each group.

Dunno thought it was random apart from toon mates. Having spawned on same map countless time usually end up in a different position apart from when I play arty then it can be a fair distance from main team, depends on the map....

In most cases, it seems that they are the complete opposite they should be :P

Ah, like on Westfield?

There are tank class specific spawn locations (it's not a spawn area, every single spawn point is coded in the map), arty will always spawn in the bottom of the valley for instance, heavies always(?) on top of the hill.

There must also be a system of primary and secondary spawn locations, so when all the med slots in the valley are full it will spawn some on the hill.

Malinovka has arty spawns in the wooded areas.

Ensk favours lights/meds and for some reason arty to the tracks side.

Yes, like on Westfield. Had a game there tonight, western base, only 3 of our team spawned in the upper portion, felt strange.

I would love to see WG response on this question.

From my experience is designed to make your life as much complicated in regards of going in to proper spot in proper tank type with +/- 25% rng included :hiding:

I thought we're gonna have a competent CC.

Wetsfield does seem to be a good example of class splits (heavies and TDs at the top; meds, scouts and arty at the bottom) but I've been trolled there in a heavy when I was spawned at the bottom in my T32. The other night I saw a Tiger II spawn there as well.

The purpose is to nerf me by always putting me as far away as I possibly could be from the position I want to go, preventing me from getting a good early position and thus map control. It's particularly tedious in low gun dep tanks where your ability to position is already limited.

For real though, maybe it's WG trying to force people to play meta as it pushes you to a certain position(unless you want to waste an extra 30 seconds). I however found that it seems to work against me more often then not.

Had fun when the game decided that my Type 4/5 should be down there and had to get all the way up the hill. By the time i was top the battle was either lost or won. Usualy when i get spawned in the valley in something slow i go in the village and try to make the best of it.
