Just had a game where I went 1v6, killed 5 but then got killed by the last enemy

That means no Kolobanovs for me which is pretty frustating.. so what if WG would put another medal into the game that would be given to you when you kill 5 or more enemy vehicles in a 1 vs. whatever?

If you have a game where you have to face 5 or more tanks....you should just try to make the best out of your situation. Kolobanov is nice but nearly impossible since half the tanks in endgame are either stat padders or tomato botters who camped base the whole time then come out of their holes with full hp.

Doesn't sound like an unreasonable request.

All random matches are 1 vs whatever. In this manner there are enough medals available already.

Tip: Do not drink and tank.

:P

Having a beer while playing this game is almost mandatory these days.

Why do you care about those stupid medals? And why should you get one on a defeat?

In GER the limit is not zero, hence you can have one or two.

Last night (like every Friday / Satureday) on WoT servers it seemed like 2/3 of players in a match had far to much, i.e. falling asleep while countdown, TD/SPG leading the attack, 8 vs 1 failing hard on a lemming flank...

I don't get why players want failures rewarded.

Well in the UK you used to be able to get an N for near miss at A Level as it sounded better than F (fail) or U (ungraded).

Though they still had to redo the test right?

You could do resits (not sure when) if you wished but that was it as it was only that one exam that counted.

On uni in Sweden you usually have 2 grades.

Some courses have more.

Passed

Not Passed.

If you fail, you have to redo until you succed (like 2 times) then you have to redo entire course.

We could also have a, I downloaded the game medal.

What about an, I clicked battle medal?

Then the quartet of medals for pressing the keys WASD.

I could list dozens I hope you get the sarcasm.

Point is, medals are there for genuine achievements.  Make a stand v 5 medal will mean someone will want a stand v 4.  Then what. keep regressing until you end up at my sarcastic opening?

A levels are from 16-18 and when I did them it was two years study, exam result and that was it. At university it was slightly different as there was a mixture before of project work, exams and for the final year a dissertation. The nearest you could get to a resit was by taking a whole year again.

Apparently your amount of Kolobanovs medals is a measurement of skill.

However I have 0 of them and I do not care. It means that I either help a team win or accept my faith. If 5 tanks can't combine their brains to kill a single one, then they shouldn't win and the lucky guy on the other team gets a Kolobanovs.

Imho fact remains that winning a 1v5 is only partially down to player skill. Even in this game, where teamplay is f*cked, the only thing needed to win 5 vs 1 is working brains.

A medal that indicated you've been lucky enough to kill 5 brainless in a lucky run makes that no indication of skill.
