Can i ask the community which tier 10 tanks should i own?

At the moment i'm not a good player, but i think i need a tier tank vehicle in order to have a chance to participate in those new "end-game"  modes, like ranked battles and especially "frontline".

Now i'll give you some additional information about me: i'm so close to T10, which i'm considering to buy as soon as possible, and also i have kv4( awful tank) in my garage.

I also own both t34-85 and a43, and i'm researching t1 heavy.

You don't need any tier 10 - they will lose you money most of the time, and ranked battles look hell to be honest!

If you really must have one, I'd personally go for the T110E5 or maybe a Maus  - treat my recommendations as suspect though, I'm rubbish at Tier X :)

You never know which tier 10 they are going to overbuff in a year. That's the one you should grind though.

Atm you cannot go wrong with the MAUS or type 5 heavy.

i'll take that into consideration.

Remember: my idea is to have a tier 10 vehicle in the garage for the only purpose of having the possibility of partecipating in these new "end-game" modes.

This fact will not necessarily imply that i will play it regurarly in random battles cause i prefer to play with tanks such as t150 and kv2,

MAUS and Batchat then.

Best of both worlds.

Or maybe obj. 140 hover med.

Good idea - keeping tanks like T150 and KV2 (and KV1) will also maintain a steady flow of creds for you too :)
Forgot about the Type 5, that's quite FOTM and OP just now, but it would depend if you want to grind through the japanese line I suppose
Also, I know you said you got the KV-4, but did you also grind the IS-3 line? IS-3 is a keeper for me

You can't go wrong with a Soviet medium (T-62A, Obj 140) or the Czech medium, TVP T 50/51.

High tier heavy tanks, unless the Maus or Type 5 Heavy, are really a waste because people just spam premium ammo at you so your armour means nothing, so rather go for a medium that is faster, has better DPM and almost always better gun handling. In the case of Soviet mediums, you actually get armour that is comparable to a normal heavy (by normal I mean not the grossly over-buffed Maus or Type 5) and I have seen T-62As and 140s actually bully tier 8 and 9 heavy tanks.

Batchat is a safe bet, pretty sure it hasn't been touched in years. Russian hovermeds and IS-7 too, for obvious reasons. Might want to wait for news on the plans for the T-62A and 140, though, rumor is that WG is planning some rebalance to make them a bit more different in terms of playstyle.

The KV-4 line is also rumored to get some rework sometime in the future, might actually be worth going there after it's been fixed.

For the 'Frontline' game mode, which I'm guessing isn't coming soon, a medium or even a light tank might be a better choice than a heavy tank. Looks like it would be benenficial to have two or three T10s to pick from there, as there are respawns and what not.

I' waiting for sales in order to buy t10.

I own is3, i was trying to get 2nd moe on it, but after the realease of the new matchmaking, i think i'll have more fun with t10

Don't just look at the end of the lines. WoT is more than just rushing up to tier ten. That's the most stupid thing you can do in this game.

If you are only interested in how good a tank is, you should probably go for the E5, that one seems to be OK and won't get nerfed in the near future.
But the better option would be to simply look at the techtrees to make your own decisions. Find one that might suit your needs and press BATTLE.

IS-7 is getting a buff soon. And with some knowledge about WG buffing, it will probably become the best T10 heavy by quite a bit.
Kind of like how Maus went from average T10 Heavy to the best by far.

Currently Maus and B-C though.

Out of the 10s i have: Maus and type are not at all as op as people make them out to be (they would be in a game without p2w ammo), leo1 has an epic gun, bc has crapgun handling but it can rape ppl given the right situations, is7 is meh (troll accuracy like the is3 tho), krv is pretty good (bouncing jpze100 firing heat always makes me chuckle), strv is death on tracks if you use it properly(siege mechanic can be a [edited]if you don't read the situation right).

Next time there's a common test, try some tier 10s, there's nothing worse than having failed expectations.

You can't go wrong with a ruski med
Or if you're more interested in heavy tanks 113 e5 or a super heavy will do (maus type or e100)

Stay away from arty and TD's they are fun to play but not extremely useful in competitive play

If I had to limit myself to a few (for variety within my preferences) it would be:

  • CAX/STB - some sort of L7-armed medium with good gun depression.
  • 907/140/T-62A - a Russian medium. The 907 is best because it was buffed for no reason, then the 140 and 62A are similar with slight variation (62 tougher turret, 140 a bit quicker IIRC)
  • 113 - haven't got it yet, but played it a lot on test server. It's a big medium basically.
  • BatChat - still reigns as one of the better autoloading tanks and a good scout.
  • Maybe the E5, but it's no where near as good as it used to be.

The Maus will go the same way as the E5, and WG's comms on it are basically identical. It got buffed, a few months of "numbers say it is fine", now we are in the "it might be too good" phase, so in a few more months (once the free exp cash stops rolling it) it will get nerfed and some other T10 overbuffed.

Haha, oh yes, he can. Tvp is huge with low pen and low alpha, powerful but obscure in current meta. Russian meds with armor comparable to heavies? Why are you lying to him? Sure, if you compare it to a lower plate of fv215b, then maybe. Are you aware t62a has 160 effective armor on hull or was russian bias myth too strong? He Will also definitely go wrong with object 430. Plus beginners won't make use of no armor low alpha high DPM tanks.

To OP, you should probably go for the t110e5 or e100, they are very forgiving for new players. Is7 is awaiting buffs so it may be really good by the time you get there, but right now it's meh. Low skill floor but also low potential when used correctly.
