Can't watch the video.

Like always:
1. Are you sure about those 100m? Or is it more like 200m? Or 400?
2. Could it be that there is a whole rainforest between you and him?

Bushes are a hell of a drug. Did some tests with trees yesterday, apparently a M56 Scorpion with camo net can hide behind a fallen palm tree at 81m - from a T-54 Lightweight. With two palms it basically had to proxyspot me. A fallen tree should be far worse than a bush is.

I suspect that breaking LOS on the tank when you drove behind the rock didn't help matters.

FWIW: The M56 basically has the same camo as the 103B, and is likely to carry a camonet (typically recommended). The 103B is also more than likely to have a very nice crew, keep the free Swedish girl crew in mind.

Spoiler

Looks like the STRV had the new invisibility cloak perk.
Could it be u were more than 50m away so couldn't proximity spot u only see him when he was firing. As soon as his most excellent camo kicked in after firing he became 'invisible' again. Mebbe mebbe not:)

That's irrelevant, no checkpoint was in direct LOS, so there's no way of spotting him, unless he shoots.

You really call one of the smallest and most stealthy TDs "huge"?

With camo net and full camo skill Strv 103Bs camo value is 60.51% and he was behind bush.

It is a common case of  PEBKAC.

Have a look here and try to comprehend what is shown.

this tank is broken as hell if we talk about cammo rating. You can't spot him under 150m while he rape you like crazy.

good DPM with very good pen and such cammo :bush:

Who knew having good camo skills was important?  I suppose. we could all complain about broken turret armour.  But then that would involve a tank you drive?  nothing wrong with your machine at all.

People that want their bread buttered on both sides make me smile.

I always do that. That way it will have problems falling on the buttered side and fall on the edge instead and stay like that.

Well, whats the problem? You knew where he/she was and took him/her out. As mentioned before - that tank is getting invincible as long as hiding behind something and doesnt shot.

Come on, at that distance the guy disappearing because of camo net and a bush is ridiculous. He may have double bushed accidentally, but it looks like he's too close to the bush for that.

Nor does the m26 pershing have particularly broken turret armor so the non-argument you put up is also a hyperbole.

says 126m on top of the reticle and the bushes appear too close to double bush him, so this is a freaky situation.

That TD can - and probably does - have 60% camo. 462 * (1-0.6) = 185 and even a 33% bush would make it only 122m.

The bottom line, whether you like the spotting mechanics in this game or you really hate them, they are absolutely consistent. It's a set of rules, not an especially complicated one, and the purpose of the game if to find the best way to use that ruleset to your advantage and to win.

Also, I'm not sure why you needed to be able to see that guy to shoot him, he couldn't go anywhere and you railing him at close to your your max dpm. Which you prove by shooting blind and killing him at the end......

Bizarre thread!

2.

126m super stealthy Swedish TD with one or two bushes somewhere around half way between them.

Working as intended.
