You could add 'premium' animals.

Gold Deer, for example, would immediately gain the recipient many extra gold shells.........................

What are you talking about? There are Ducks, Lions, Panthers, Tigers, Elephants, Bulldogs, Wolverines, Leopards, Mouse, Firefly's,  2 different variants of Scorpions, Bats and even Bisons. All you have to do is use your binoculars and you will find a few.

Actually, the idea of animals is not a bad idea.

I mean, there are already some birds, so why not few deers and bears for decoration! Maybe a whale somewhere in the ocean or a fish.

It would make the game feel much more "realistic"

They could add them together with the HD maps rework.

Do dinosaurs with laser eyes count as animals? If yes, I'd totally want those in the game.

Things is... if you fire on them, drive over then etc. Then what? As the reason why there are none atm, is because WG want's to keep their age rating low. Same reason why there are no people in open top tanks.

There used to be dogs and chickens, well if you ran over a dog house the dog would yelp and if you ran over the chicken coop the chickens would squawk.

Apparently that wasn't funny.

It would seem the feathered flying variety is the safest option then. Or maybe some fish...?
