3 arty , perma stun whole battle. Me and 4 other tanks around..... please dont say i need to go for cover..... some changer to stun mechanic a needed . DR . After 3th stun u get immune for 30 sec or something similar.

Ok i won't say go for cover so i'll say don't go out of cover instead.

The key word there is cover.

On a serious note, have you ever considered adapting your playstyle as the game dictates?

For example, when hit by arty, try relocating - losing the spot he has on you etc.

Avoiding arty is not difficult - if you make it easy for him to hit you, he inevitably will.

u want replay, get to rank 5 and then you will feel perma stun, or you will camp like most players

Wow. A third of a team perma stunned within ten metres of each other for the whole game?

Must have been a short game with players like that then. I think I'd be glad it was over frankly and I could move on.

healing removes stun effect so it is better now than pre change

my only whine was I thought only SPGs would stun, but seeing other tanks do, why nerf the SPGs?

strange story and no replay ? no wont buy it

 

3 arty every game ? yeah sure

you know stun durations are overwriting other stuns   so you claim that 3 arties that that cant be in a platoon and most likely dont even speak the same language manages to perfectly time their shots ? and even every time only on you ?

 

perma stun? let me guess you were so busy with whining and ranting you forgot to use your medkit ?

 

a single mapsquare is 100m x 100m   the largest diameter of a splashcircle is 30m  so you claim that 5 tanks stayed within  20-30m distance ?  you cant give a nicer invite to any arty to shot there by doing such a idiotic clustering ...

umm.. you do need to go for cover though..

I mean lets face it, only someone with no brain cells actually wants to be shot in the face, the whole goal is to be not hit at all, even in heavies, the armour just helps take a shot when you take shots at the enemy..

always keep moving, and bring med kits, repair kits and if you want, repair skill and/or toolbox

you could even, uhh.. bring a spall liner if your driving a heavy.. supposed to be good for countering arties now


 

but still.. clustering in that smaller area? that's like inviting an arty to shoot you....

Whenever donkeys at WG understand that they shouldn't have given an auto loader arty stun mechanic then they will also do something about stun and 3 arty per match in ranked.

It has an overlap mechanic, so if you get hit, and you know there are more then 1 SPG aiming there, don't use the medkit instantly unless you really, really need it. As then the next stun will be negated, or given a reduced timer. So if you have no cover. The overlap mechanic is the one thing you can abuse to reduce it.

 

Can stun immunity work if you have been hit by all 3 for a long time? Sure, it's a possible solution. I don't think a timed immunity is ideal tho. As that negates the role arty has. As that can work for you when you get hit. But also against you when you need their support vs the next "OP" tank.. As damage is not something they do well anymore to help vs that.

 

But a hidden buff is something that can work. As in the more you get hit, the less effective the stuns are. Thus reducing the timers they give down to a certain point. And making the overlap mechanic more effective at increasing the chance of negating and eliminating the next stun more. And giving you more time if the arty is timing their hits vs when you are not stunned if you get focused.

Been playing the game for long enough now so, yes, I know exactly what that means.

I've figured out how to deal with arty - how about you?

Never been "perma stunned" and I get focused quite a bit.
