Just thought i'd throw my two cents out there on the matter of ranked. i must admit i was looking forward to it but after getting to rank 5 and only needing 3 chevrons till elite 5 my anger is at boiling point and reading the chat when you're about to loose *edit* I was using kranvagn most of the time and i swear to god almighty if there was 3 arty then all 3 would focus me down every single game without fail untill i was dead, death by a thousand cuts. So i says to myself i'll try arty myself and see what happens, what happens was the next 5 games were city maps and i loose another 5 games, armour is iirelivant in ranked because of all the gold. At the earlier ranks i liked it as people were'nt camping as much and played normal but up higher its an absolute campfest and matches usually time out with even maus and types camping. It also cost me over a million credits to spam gold to get that far so i just cant afford it anymore. Are you guys gonna keep playing all the ranked and if so how the hell do you afford it and keep your sanity while you're at it?

Idk who even think to play ranked anyway? Is not enough of destroyed randoms with all those super HT's like Maus/Types and ofc sky pigs.

 

And ofc even dumber is to pick Kranvagn in such mode, that tank have problems to pen T9 HT's and you take it to play vs so many Types and Mauses driving around?

You're right its pen is garbage even with gold but on some maps its an instant top 3 win or loose due to hull down inpenetrable turret and i dont have a type or maus.

I havnt bothered with ranked battles yet... Dont plan on doing so, this whole thing is just ridiculous.

I'm playing it just so I can put improved equipment on my E-25 because we need more whine topics.

Iam playing them just for the sweet reserves (including 5x 50% credit boosters for 2 hours) which are imo worth the day or two of grinding. And NO you dont really need prem ammo if you dont want to use it. Play a medium and 80% of tanks you meet are other mediums.

I`m not saying u will do so OP, but there is a reason they are putting in bonds in the giftshop.

U have mentioned 1 of them.....u got enough of this sh**. And enough players who wants the Equipment will buy them.

Dont worry Im sure WG will figure out how to power creep the E-25, then theyl sell it again after hyping it up.

if you want to prove you are better you have to do it against all ods, thats the point of this whole mode.... but all in all its no different to randoms so i refuse to play it until there is BIG reward for being the best.... like a new tank....

So you want to play it in order to get something that you just described as giving an unfair advantage, but you don't enjoy the play.

You have a problem.

 

I guess there are many players who aren't bothering with Ranked Battles, or just aren't good enough to win the bonds. The first are probably not whinging about RB's and the second probably are.

I played the first day of Ranked , considered it a pathetic waste of time and credits . It wasn't 1 bit enjoyable even though I made credits

Yeah add an improved rammer and chocolate on your E-25, with such a crazy RoF, you'll be out of ammo in the first minute and half of the game

Haven't played a single ranked battle (might have partially something to do with the fact that I haven't bothered about buying a tier 10 tank yet).

Youre probably listening to the wrong players, the improved equipment gives rather tiny bonuses. Go on tanks.gg and compare a few tanks with normal and improved equipment and see for yourself. If Ranked really pisses you off that much, you'll probably conclude that its not worth your effort.

I have about 10 tier 10 tanks in my garage, b7t i just can't be bothered with ranked. I get tired just thinking about the tedium of ranked.
