This should be removed for misleading information, lies and deceit! in fact WG should be sued for such a thing. look at this BS they put to sell this package.

"Extra Credits present to you the FV4202, a tank that once was marking the top of the British medium tank line. With a strong turret, good gun depression, and an accurate gun, you can hide your hull while picking on opponents' HP from afar. Get yours today, together with 30 days of Premium Account to maximise your profits!"

1. "once marked top of the tree" whats this got to do with selling this underpowered turd? it was once a totally different tank that was also "so bad" it got replaced.

2. "with a strong turret"

Spoiler

3. "good gundep" so what? pilot has good gun dep? KR has gundep. T34 has gundep (and a real STRONG turret). many tanks have good gundep.

4. "accurate gun"  accuracy is good. destroyed by terrible dispersion values, so no, its not accurate at all. its actually terrible for the garbage DPM and crappy alpha.

5. "hide your hull while picking on opponents' HP from afar" Hide your hull all you want. your turret wont bounce anything, your gun hits so weak (230 alpha) and such bad reload that you arent even a threat to same tier targets. let alone tier 7!.

6.  DONT BUY IT.

Edit:

7. Almost forgot. the credit gain of this tank is terrible due to the 20 pounder shell cost being stupidly high for such garbage alpha. they buffed it ages ago by 10% but tis not enough for such expensive shells.

Oh noes, advertisement states correct information without giving the full picture, that's got to be grounds for suing because it says so on the internet!

Not many T8's are holding much weight now though with the current MM so it's not alone. Not saying it's now weaker than most but when all you see is T9 and 10 just now not many T8 mediums turrets are holding up to the calibre they face.

You could make similar arguments for a lot of the older tier 8 premiums, except they get buffed in time. I'm sure that if you wait long enough the British lines will be buffed too and then the FV4202 will be a marvellous and very strong tier 6 medium tank. Shame it'll still be at tier 8 but you can't have everything, right?

It's going to be a right kick in the tits for British tank enthusiasts if the Strv. 81 comes along and is better than the FV ... much like it looks to be at the moment.

The tank was good - It was my favourite British medium and it looks great. You couldn't simply rasha like 140(or 907 now) but I still liked it at tier 10 - It just required different tactic. Also using HESH on this tank was great fun.

This is a straight up lie in fairness. There is no way any informed and reasonable person could think that.

Extra Credits is a history-lite video series aimed at younger viewers, from what I've seen of it. An informed customer base appears not to be WG's target market with this sponsorship, so I'm only surprised that they're not offering a range of packages for D-Day nations with a T34 being punted as well.

In fact, the whole thing stinks because the sponsored series in question is looking at D-Day, so the western Berlin tanks would have been a much better fit than a tank that wasn't even in combat until after WWII ended.

Cromwell B definitely. Also, the Fury and Thunderbolt would fit well, maybe the M4 improved and the T14. (for masochists) Perhaps some of the low tier german premiums as well.
